What do you do when you are in depression??

Depression is probably the worst thing or feel in one's life. Even I get depressed several time but I somehow manage to come out of it. But many times its quite difficult to overcome our depression. Lets share here some ideas to overcome depression. Few people meditate, some exercise, some do yoga.. There are several ways. Lets share..

When I'm depressed, I eat food that I like (not a lot, just to tickle the senses), I talk with friends, I work out physically, play basket ball...etc, it doesn't matter what you really do as long as you keep yourself relaxed and your mind free of miseries. If the depressions stays, some lively music may help. There are albums recommended by psychologists which help uplift your spirits abit. Besides that, self help, motivational and inspirational books may well lit a bright path that leads you out of the gloom of depression. by the way, personally, I think it's a bit hard to meditate when I'm depressed. I just can't stay calm when I'm depressed and meditating doesn't work for me. I'd get even more frustrated. ^^
