As soon as I had heard of the Eragon series I had to read it. I'm a dragon buff and love to try and read anything dealing with dragons. As soon as I started reading the series I was hooked. It had a wonderful plot, amazing discriptions, and fantastic characters. There is one huge downfall to the whole series in my mind though. The cliffhangers. I hate them but love them just the same and as soon as I got to the third book, thinking it was the last, I was proven wrong. I was caught up the whole plot and as soon as I got to the page where it said that the story would continue in the next book, I was quite miffed. lol Have you read this series and dispised the to be conintued at the end? Have you read any other book series that continues such as this?

I just got the third book. I've loved the series. I just wish they'd done a better job with the movie. If you hadn't read the book the movie is O.K.. If you have red it then you find it sorely lacking.

I completely agree with you! I saw the movie and was highly disappointed that it didn't follow the book like it should. See it appart without reading the book and it's amazing but with the book it's bad.

I have not read the series. My daughter read Eragon and she loved it. When the second book came out, she begged me to get it for her right away. Then she only read the first few chapters and said that she did not like it. She stopped reading the series after that. I have read other books that leave you hanging at the end and it really ticks me off.
