What was your favorite memory from grade school (elementary school)?

I have lots of memories from elementary school. Not many of them can be classified as favorites. One comes to mind as a favorite and that was of my second grade teacher who took time out during recesses to help me with a speech problem I had as a child. Then in the summertime during vacation, she sent postcards out to her students from a vacation she took. I remember receiving that post card and feeling so special at the time.

I had a lot of flashbacks when I saw the title. But one of the most memorable experience I had in grade school was in my 6th grade. It was so much fun and I miss those days when you're not thinking of anything serious and it's all learning and having fun. I remember everyday back then when we kept on playing every break and after school. Good times!

Yes, it was fun being able to run and play and not really care what anyone else thought of what we were doing because it was normal.

I had a little boy friend from elementary school when I was 7, we always played together and I went to his house after school. Then he transferred to another town at 10 years old since then I never meet him again or I could say only once in a blue moon on the street. Every time he will call me now and then. Till we went to high school. That was a nice memory although it was not like real couple.

In kindergarten way back when, we had to take naps. We each had a little rug we brought to lay on the floor on. There was a boy in my class who always wanted me to lay down beside him. I guess he thought he liked me. It just made me not like him though. Later on as we got older, I could see he was an okay guy. I was just very shy.

This made me think of those big fat black pencils we used in the earlier grades.
