I did. I find it really strange and I don't know if I'm to blame our carrier for it. I think there was something messed up in their system because my boyfriend also tried calling me on Christmas but I wasn't able to pick it up because it got cut short. He said that he had a really hard time connecting to my phone.

Hi there, well it was actually the other way round for me! I got many more messages and greetings on christmas day than I did compared to the new year. I guess it depends on the country... I did receive some calls on new years that were cut off quite quickly and I also had people tell me that they were trying to call me but they couldn't get through as all the lines were busy

I received more greetings on Christmas. But for the new year, thouse were a few, but funny. I thik that people think more at friends on Chrismas than on new year.

Hello oyenkai. I got more greetings on Christmas than on new year. It was really though because every new year, friends would send me text messages and call me, but last night only a few people greeted me thru text and phone.

For me, it's very normal to get New Year greetings than Christmas, eventhough the latter feels a lot more like a special day to me (with all the christmas trees and decoration everywhere). The reason is simple, I'm not a christian and most of my friends aren't too, so they don't specifically wish my a Merry Christmas. I'd wish my Christian friends and some others whom I know likes Chirstmas, and they'd do the same. But most of my friends, won't miss wishing me a Happy New Year. Well, it wishes for whatever season is meant for you to feel warm and happy that someone remembers you. Some might not say it, but it is said in the heart. If you feel it, then even if you don't get it on that day, I believe it's all the same. ^^

I received like two greeting this night (New Year's Eve) and none for Christmas. A reason is that I'm from a different cell network than my friends. I don't care that much about greetings. I hate it that I have to make sure that my inbox is not full.
