Did you light fireworks last new year's eve? / myLot

Hi mylotters, new year has come and here i am wanting to know if you guys have light up any fireworks last new year's eve. here in the Philippines, we used to light fireworks to bring good luck as the chinese feng shui stated. for this year, some on the main cities here put a BAN law of not to use any pyrotechiques. kinda sad but it somehow helps. less accidednt and less pollution. Without fireworks it isint a new years, me and my family spend alot of money on fireworks and i even make my own. I also do not agree with pyrotechnic laws but i do enforce the law of refuseing firworks to a known felon

I am from Denmark and we have a lot of fireworks on New Year's Eve. My family usually buys some fireworks, but I have never bought any myself. When my brother was younger he used to buy so much fireworks that he didn't finish ligntning it until a couple of hours after midnight. This year I moved to a new house just before christmas, it is a village, and my fiance and I thought that New Year's Eve would be pretty quiet here without too much fireworks, but we were wrong. There was a lot of fireworks here. We hadn't bought anything ourselves, but we enjoyed watching the fireworks that our neighbours had bought.

i usually have a lot of fireworks, but last year i got really drunk, and it almost went wrong, this year, i choose now to have any fireworks.
