I think he should retire and give younger players like Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma a chance to play

No I don't think Rahul should retire in 2009.He is a good player ,he is a wall of India team. He served India for long time now when his bad times come everybody just forget what did he do for the coutry only talk about his retirement He must be give some chances I am sure he will be bounce back. and I am sorry to tell you Raina and Sharma is not a bastman of Rahul calober in a test matches they are good in one day or in 20-20 but not in test matches so hang with Rahul.

Yes, he should retire at the end of 2009. At least he should retire from one day international cricket.

i think that he has one more year left to play the game . Because he is already 35 now and he can can play one year now. yes there are many youngsters in the team who are trying hard to find their spot in the side but they still have to prove something in the ranji matches because the 20-20 and the ODI is completely different from the test matches .

The decision to retire or not will belong to him & how he is feeling about his game. The real question is weather team India should select him in future tours. The next tour is to new zealand & he is one of the few batsmen who has the technique to survive the swinging ball inform or out of form. This tour will decide his future which i feel got an extension after the century against england.

he should retire when he wants to and its quite foolish for people like us to judge the career of a cricketing great like him. he is the best person to decide that and being the intelligent cricketer he is i am sure he will take a wise decision and even when he retires i think people like badrinath, pujara should get his place not raina and rohit sharma.

Hey, the decision about retirement is quite personal, we cannot suggest anything in regard to that, but I Indian cricket team needs to be more professional, they need to give place in the team on performance basis, after all in a match what we need is the win of our team. If Dravid is in good form then he can stick on, but if he is out of touch then someone else who is in form should be given a chance. That is what i think
