New DNC Chairman

According to an email I just received from the Washington Post, the new Democratic National Committee chairman will be Virginia governor Timothy Kaine. He will be the part-time chairman until 2010 when his term as governor ends, and then will be the full time chairman.

I don't know much about Timothy Kaine. Do you think this is a good decision? I guess I will do a search on the net to learn more about him. Thanks for the information!
