Not Receiving Email Notifications

I can sympathize. I haven't gotten a single notification when my friends start a new discussion since they changed the format some 6 months ago. I keep writing to them but they don't answer or fix the problem. I've missed so many good discussions by my friends. It's very frustrating. Hopeful they'll get it fixed someday!

Somehow I stopped receiving email notifications when somebody comments on my response and that's pretty annoying. I can definitely check how many people responded to my discussions but it's such a pain to search for a discussion you responded to a week ago

I'm sorry to hear that. Another Mylot friend of mine is having the same problem. all of my notifications are going to my spam box for some reason. You may want to check there also.

Yes I am having the same problem, I am getting a few here and there. Many are not coming through.

I think i have not come across this problem, because i am having all the details about the members in my list and their discussions also under the "friends started".. Carol, I've often wondered why I get so many notifications of a few and none from most of the others on my list. A couple of times I've gone in to some of the profiles only to find they haven't posted recently. But I have a lot more people on my list that I never get notified about. The only thing I can figure is that my name is turned off on their list. I hope that's not the case. leenie

As for the notifications, I am sometimes getting them, and many times not anymore it seems of some of my Friends notifications, etc. Many times I am sure I am missing out on Good Discussions here, but until they make this site 100% error proof, I think we have to get what we get. But maybe they will read this suggestion and a few of the other ones here people have suggested before and decide to upgrade, etc. soon in here as well.

I have so many friends and discussions to go thru that it's impossible for me to know if I'm missing any or not at this point. One of these days, I'll be able to sit here and go thru them all. I feel like I'm really out of the loop being I haven't been here in mylot much lately.

I have not received any notifications since myLot made all of the changes awhile back, carolbee. I addressed the issue with them, but my problem was never solved. I do receive notifications, however, when there is a response to one of my discussions. After a long time I just decided to let it go rather than continue to stress about it.

Maybe there is a limit to how many can be handled?

Up until yesterday I was receiving notifications from every one I had turned notifications ON, but yesterday and today all I've received is the digest. I think they're probably doing some maintenance on the system.

i have the same problem here.i was thought my friends in mylot has no discussions but when i checked they have posted but no notify e mail.whats wrong with mylot?

Hey carol! I only get some of my notifications. I don't know why, but they just don't all come through for some reason. And it's just always been like that! I have written to mylot admin about it but nothing ever seems to get done! So you are not alone there! There just seems to be some kind of glitch in the system where you get some and others you just don't!

yes i think you check your settings once again. or you can wait for some time to see what happens. sometimes things like this happens. to know about the notifications you can use the my lots members home page there you can also know about your friends responses to the discussions.

Yes, I've been having this problem for some time now. Although I don't have every single notification set on there are a few of the more recent ones that I haven't received even though the notifications are on. I noticed this after going to some of my friends pages and seeing that they made new discussions that I should have gotten, but never did. Just another one of those mylot glitches, I suppose.

Oh really well so far I haven't had any problems like that yet, thats strange but I hope that they fix it soon.
