Do food commercials make you crave their products?

Every time I watch tv, which isn't very often, it can annoy me a little to see so many commercials for food. If there is a new item on their menu then yes it is intriguing to see what goods they have to offer. But, it is irritating to the same commercial played twice in fiver minutes. I used to work for McDonald's so their commercials really do not entice me (although I still love their fries). I must admit the only commercial for food that really entices me is usually Whataburger. do any commercials for food make you crave what they're advertising?

Especially late at night. I dislike McD's fries so that isn't a problem for me. Wendy's chili is a problem though. I used to work for Burger King and that is one commercial that I love! Anything from BK. Their commercial entice me. Yes!

Heh well I like to say McDonald's fries are only disgustingly addictive due to how much salt they have! haha I just realized I really like BK's commercials but since I was little I have never returned to their restaurant since i thought the food was burned. I'll go back one day though =]

There are some commercials which actually made me feel interested in their food but most of them will not be able to move me. After all, those are pretty much special effects and the real food don't look as nice (maybe not even half as nice). You can do wonders with image and video editing tools nowadays and with those skills, you can even make a rat poison looks tasty!

Lol I bet they could make even rat poison look tasty. I think only Whataburger looks real, but I don't know if they have those everywhere

I never watch the commercials. I rarely watch live tv now. We have a dvr and record everything and we watch without the commercial interruptions. Once in a while I will watch a commercial if I think it is cute (like the ones with the little gecko, I think he's adorable), and sometimes if it's a commercial for a movie that might interest me. I'm not enticed by any of the food commercials. I do like McDonald's fries though, I just can't eat too many. I really don't eat much fast food.

God I'm one of those people where all my friends say that commercials are definitely made for people like me. The first thing I want to do right when I see a new product is run out and get it if it looks interesting to me. It doesen't matter what it is a food, shampoo, eye makeup remover, cleanser anything. I love new things and whenever I watch commercials I always see at least a couple of them.

I am actually a food lover and love the sight od food in good food commercials. I don't care how many times I am watching the same commercial. But if it looks nice and delicious, then I get impatient to taste the food. Like the Lays Chips commercials are so good. I love potato chips, and also chocolates. Then I also like the KFC and McDonalds commercials. Whenever I see a new product launched I visit the shop at the next chance.

It's not so much the food commercials that bother me, but the 'diet' food commericals that irritate me. They try to make the food look appetizing, but you know it's probably grosser than gross, and not as big as they make it look on tv. How anybody could eat that crap to lose weight is beyond me.
