To whom do you say those three words? How often do you use that line? and what do you get in return?

Every morning I say those words to my wife and get the same back with a "too" attached to it. So it becomes, "I love you, too". Oh yes, on holidays I repeat those words a few more times.

I love my boyfriend, so I say "I love you" to him. But not very often, maybe several times a month. Sometimes love become a habit and do not need to say everyday, you two know it ,that is enough. While on the other hand, we need to express ourselves, so that will deepen your love.

Yes, I agree. We need to verbally express our love too. Showing it is not enough sometimes.

Yeah i always say i love you most of the time and i mean it all the time too. It really doesn't bother me if i don't get anything in return as long as i will be able to say it. It's would be worst than not to say it at all. At least along the way she can think about it and realize that i did tell her that i love her. So far i do get positive replies, it's just that the relationships i had are just bound to be broken.

i am married to my wife for six years now and also live in with her for three years. we never fail to say i love you everyday. and we never fail to say that to our son as well. even if i call home to check them and i am at work we say i love you to each other. i think it is important to say that, for us it is not just a word it is a word that is full of meaning.

dont let your husband stop you on showing and saying how much you love him. i will admit that i am like your husband too but my wife didnt stop on telling me everyday. not just one but almost evreytime. sometimes she looks at me like waiting for me to response back and now i got liking the feeling. she out-beated me. and now i am happy that i do it too for my child will grow up seeing how much we love him and he will see how hos parents love each other.

That's sweet! I really envy you. My husband does not want to say it everyday. I had an x-boyfriend and we tell that to each other more than once everyday. I wish I could tell my husband how much I love him.

I say it most of the time to my daughter. She's really sweet and says I love you back. She sometimes says it out of the blue with a very sweet voice. It makes me smile whenever I think of that.

It is indeed wonderful. First you have to teach him to do that as soon as he starts walking. How old is your baby now by the way? I believe he is still an infant right?

Hi, I use those words only with my girlfriend, and I always mean those words, and I get always in return the same but always with feeling, it can't be described in simply words, you have to look into the eyes of that person and you'll know if it's said with feeling or are just another words

These are very powerful words. The tongue is said to be the sharpest part of our body as it can cut through to our very emotions. With that said, these words should carry a powerful emotional content when said, otherwise mentioning to another person in an emotionless voice that doesn't really mean anything could take away its credibility. It's good to use these words sparingly and only in moments that we can really say it and mean it. I don't say this often to the one's I love, but on the occasion that I do, it packs quite a punch. :)

I say it daily to my son. Several times a day sometimes. I never leave the house or leave him without saying it. I say it to siblings, great friends, and parents as well. They are the ones I love and am closest to. Never say it unless you mean it. Mean it when you say it. And say it often. Because it means so much....

I am always sure to tell my husband, my children, my family, and my very close friends that I love them. I tell my friends that I love them at the end of every phone conversation we have, the same goes for my family that lives far away from me. I tell my husband and my kids that I love them each and every day, multiple times a day. It is just something we all do. None of us ever wants to have the regret of not saying it if anything should happen to us. If I die in my sleep tonight, I will die knowing that those I hold near and dear to my heart know that I love them.

I use to say this word daily in front of the mirror lol, don't think that i am mad ,there is a great saying that "If you want others to love you ,first you love yourself"then others will automatically love you.and then i am trying to say this word to my lover for a very long time, but till now i cannot tell to her .But daily i am trying to say this word to her ,but i don't know why i cannot tell this to her .Bcoz i cannot live if she reject me.

That's kind of weird! I never had faced the mirror and tell myself that I love you. Anyway, just do it! Tell her you love her because time flies and you may not have the chance to tell it to her anymore.

i say it to a guy whom i do love a lot. But in return i do not get anything. I mean he doesnt wanna say the same back. Dont ask me why. In return i get "I like you a lot" which more or less like a slap on the face. But i guess there is no use forcing a person to love you when they are not interested.

Oh! That's offensive. When I do that to someone, I mean that I do not love him. I think you better find someone else who can love you back.
