Anyone else have icy weather today?

I think that, for us, it was more snowy than icy. It has been snowing non stop all day. It's very beautiful.

Ah, good old ice storms. I've had a few moments of "woah!" this winter. One was funny because it involved my dog.. who slipped most humorously but didn't hurt herself while trying to get her food. The others don't really seem to be interesting stories to relate, so I'll pass.

Oh my, that is bad, I hope a lot of people stayed home and played it smart. Our weather was in the 40's but with a lot of cold rain which the dampness made everything feel cooler. I thought the rain was bad..sorry to hear and hope no one was harmed in the accidents badly.

We have icy weather today too. Schools were closed earlier this morning before it even got too bad if I'm not mistaken. I'm not quite sure how many accidents we've had or if there have really been many at all. But I'm sure there probably have been some small ones but nothing huge. My mother has to go out in this weather in a bit to go to work so I hope it's cleared up a bit here and isn't too icy so she can go to work.

We had icy weather this morning but it didn't last long. The roads were slick for a little while but melted quickly.

The weather where I am , Here in New Jersey, is not bad yet. The forcast is for snow starting this evening, then changing to sleet. They are warning people about the drive home this evening, because it is supposed to be very icy. Tomorrow morning is also expected to be bad afte the overnight refreezing. Stay inside and be safe.

Not too bad here. A little on the cars, but that is about it. My son even ran to the end of the driveway to get on the bus and did not slip at all on ice. School is still in session today, so that should tell you something. The schools around here close if there is anything on the ground at all or if they think we are going to get some. All these twisty gravel roads I guess.
