hello guys ..i had just finish watching dvd's and like to ask your opinion on something that bothers me while im watching this movie or something..the title is black widow...its a woman actually who wed a rich guy then kills him after a month or so that all his properties will hers and everything...and then look for another rich bachelor or divorced guys with same motive...i guess this woman is having a problem with her personality or her mind ...coz a normal woman don't kill husband for money...could it be true to real life? do you know or maybe known from news or friends or by mouth if a certain woman really exist calling her a black widow? or is it just a pigment of the writer's imagination...or maybe im just carried away on what i saw..please bear with my silly imagination..

It happens.
Belle Gunness, Killed her husbands, then boyfriends then stepchildren for money.
Lydia Trueblood, killed 5 husbands a child and an in-law for money.
Mary Ann Cotton, 4 husbands, two, lovers and a child - suspected of killing up to 20 people.
Lydia Catherine Ambrose, Killed 1 fiancee and 4 husbands for money
Margie Velma Barfield, killed 4 husbands/lovers plus her mother and an employer for money.
Betty Lou Beets Killed 4 out of 5 husbands. One managed to escape her with a bullet lodged in his back.
Stories of real black widows are easy to find on the internet. These are greedy women with no conscience.

Well, I hate to take the rose colored glasses off of ya but this sort of stuff happens all the time. I watch Trutv and it is in the news alot. Both men and women do this for insurance money. This movie you speak of was good. It taken from an actual happening. Sad, but true.

I recall last year there was a story on the news that they had finally caught a woman who had killed at least 4 or 5 men that she was married to, and that she had been doing this for a least twenty years or so.

hi vanities ..
i believe there are many woman out there who are like this .. they are mostly emotionaly disturbed .. when they are growing up, if certain incidents involving their parents or especially fathers being dishonest to their mothers or from a poor family effects them ..
i have never come across anyone with such behaviours , but i believe they exist among us

Yes, there is such a thing and I know that some of these women have had TV movies made on their lives. Lots of evil in this world and fiction is often based on fact. Anyway, I guess the operative word is "normal". These women aren't. Just my two cents. :)

Hello vanities. I think that there is possibility in real life that is similar to the movie content because there are different kinds of people and it is hard to tell exactly what he or she thinks about in the mind. Take care, friend.

I think this film is based on a real story and this kind of things happens in real life also. I remember, reading a news article about one such serial killer lady, caught by police, few moths back. That lady married and killed at least 2-3 of her husbands in similar fashion.
