get out on time? I did that this morning. My daughter and hubby got up at 7 am. I got up at 7:30 am. I finished helping my daughter with her hair, and the routine things to get her ready to go to the bus stop. I looked up at the clock. I had 5 minutes. SO I put on my winter gear over the clothes I wore to bed. And out the door we went.

I have done that before. I have driven my son to school in my PJ's before too. That was of course when it was not so cold out.

Yes. I have had to do this plenty of times when running late. I hate it but I never want to be late for anything.

I was forever doing that when I lived with my ex, basically my ex would never leave me enough milk for my breakfast, they would make sure they had enough milk, so many times when I came down for breakfast I would find the milk had gone, so I would grab my coat and shoes and walk down to the shops to buy milk, I couldn't function without breakfast and no matter how many times I grumbled at my ex about the milk it kept happening, I was not a happy wolfie!

I have done that myself, but my version is slightly adjusted. Since my pajamas obviously look like such, I pull pants on over them, pull on a sweater type overshirt, bundle in my parka and go. Works for me.

Oh, I do that often in the winter, because at least you have your coat to cover you up. I can not get away with doing that in the summertime, because wearing a coat would look to obvious. But yes, I have no problem grabbing a coat to cover my sleepwear to go to the store, the store is next door to where I live.

Sounds like me today. LOL. We were rushing around trying to get ready and then the bus was coming and her coat was missing. I just grabbed my jacket and ran out to stop the bus so she did not miss it. Fortunatly for us my daughters bus driver also happens to be her grandmother. So there I am flagging down the bus in my pj bottoms and flip flops and a winter coat. Thank goodness there was a warm wind blowing today instead of the artic blast that seems to blow on days like this.

Yes I have many times especially when I had to take my sister to her bus when I stayed with her or she stayed the night on a school night with me. We live up a holler and bus doesn't run up here so we have to walk the kids out to the end of the holler. I am not the only one who does this my sister in law did it as well. The bus ran at my sisters at 6:15 am and here at my house at 7 am.

Dominic, my son - This is my son on his 5th birthday, he is now 7
Luckily I don't have to go through this. One of the good things of my son being classified as special needs, the bus comes directly to the front door every morning. I have been teaching him how to get out there on time, so in the morning after he dresses himself, he goes to the front door to watch for the bus, then leaves on his own. My little man!*Sniff*

I've done it. But it's no big deal unless you have to get out of your vehicle. But in winter months unless I have to go to work I tend to sleep in my day clothes anyway... they are usually much warmer than any pj's and one less thing to wash *LOL*

I would have to say that yes I have done that on a few occasions especially since I have a son and when you have a child you have to be in a hurry! I would just have to go out in my robe and maybe not even shoes to get him out to a bus and then worry about getting prepared for my day later on.
