It's Electric!

Clicking to Pay My Electric Bill - I'm so glad to have these little checks come in here and there to help pay the bills. It's not a lot, but every little bit helps!

Come on, you know you want to get up and dance! Like a lot of you, I'm on a very fixed income and have to stretch every single penny that I get. With the winter having set in, my electric bill has gone up a considerable amount and I've turned the thermostat down as low as I can stand it and have plastic on the windows, etc. It's still freezing in here and there's not much more I can do. Fortunately I got my payment for ClixSense in the mail today and that will definitely help towards the electric bill due next week. Can't beat $22.10 for just a few clicks here and there!

I waited to get to $25, so with the small amount they took I still got $22.10 so I'm happy with that.

You bet that is great you have to do the woo hoo dance. I went back to work and it is nice but I just wonder why. You get so down sometimes that you can't remember why you do it anymore. But hey then I remember I like a house and a warm bed. You have a great day. And good luck to you. Your friend onlydia

I'll bet it was more than just a few Try lighting candles, I know it sounds dumb, but you would be amazed at how much difference just a few candles will make.

long time no see, Ldyjarhead, I have the same problem. Last month (Dec), my gas bill went up to 300$ bucks, it was just ridiculous high. I am almost broke and I need to put more effort to online money making programs. Thanks for telling me that clixsense does pay. I will check that out.

good to hear you have the extra money coming it, I am on a fixed income too, in canada where it is freezing lol and I can't turn my heat down because the place is freezing and with my disability I get really sick when it is too cold in here. I can't wait for the spring to come back again but we are just now headed for the coldest part of the winter, jan and feb

I bet you can still survive without having any heating on during the night. Let me share a few tips with you: First, air your house during the day and keep the curtains open. Close it when the sun are just about to come down. Second, take less time to shower. That will save you quite a bit of money. Third, go to bed early if you can. That saves you money for not switching on additional lights. Your body heat should be enough when you have two or three blankets wrapped around you and it also depends on where you stay. The list goes on and on so take note of the basic ones and put it into practice.

I've been doing all that and more for years. I doubt you'll find too many people more anal about their frugality than me. My thermostat is turned down to 61 and I'm not willing to go any lower.

Wow, congratulations Ldyjarhead. That's a great check from ClixSense. I have been paid by them once, but I must be set at the low payout because I think my check was just a little over $10.00. Do you have a lot of referrals in that program? I'm not sure, but I don't think I have any. That could be the reason I'm not earning. Congratulations again, have a great day and try to stay warm!!!

Congrats on the Clixsense payment! I saw your myLot promo on EasyHits4U and was very impressed -- hope you get some signups. Obviously, it would have been better if someone other than me had seen it, but I thought you were pretty convincing...it would have been enough to make me want to join myLot! Hopefully some new refs will help pay your bills in the coming months.

Cool! I do get the occasional referral from running that, but they don't usually stick around and try it. Most don't even accept my friendship so I can help them out, even thought I mention it in that promotion. Very few even make the first point.

I unerstand how you feel, I am living off my severance pay for now, after that my unemployment insurance will kick in and after that I am planning on attending school, my TRA benefits will pay for me to attend this schooling and I can also draw my unemployment insurance for a total of 2 years, I am praying that this works out. I have no other avenue to go. Jobs here are not plentiful with all the closings and lay offs. I am budgeting myself too. God Bless both of us.

I know the feeling..we heat with kerosene and it gets mighty cold since we are trying to stretch it to last since we don't have alot of income since hubby doesn't work alot in winter. So when it is 32 and up we don't have any heat on and try to bundle up good to stay warm. Hey that is great..highest I ever got from Clixsense was $7.74 would have been more but they take some out for check processing I guess. I have wanted to become a premium account holder but with hubby not working much I have to help with bills as much as I can..I received a Sendearnings check for $28.20 and a clixsense for $7.74 this month.

My house is never warm. For sleeping I have an electric bed warmer. I also found that we save money by just using a space heater where ever we are sitting.

Yes, I close off as much as I can and have one in the living room (where the thermostat is, so keeps it from kicking on), and a smaller one here in the office where I spend the bulk of my time.

That's great news! I would like to know how you accumulate $22.10 though, is it easy? I've heard of clixSense, what do you have to do with them in order to earn? I know that this doesn't relate entirely to your discussion by I'm always interested in information when it comes to earning! Many thanks. Andrew
