Early today, I realized I need to strengthen my spiritual relationship with God. I am a non-practicing catholic by choice because I feel like there are practices that I don't think is applicable... Are there any organizations that I can talk with about psycho-spiritual stuff? I am communicating with God and I have a relationship with him but I know I have to nourish such relationship.

Hi Tryxiness, I am a Catholic too even though I was a lapsed catholic for some time. There are some teaching in the catholic church which i really have some doubts about but i guess that would be in every religion. I would suggest to find a suitable parish priest. Most of the modern priests are open minded and can help you in your spiritual journey. Otherwise there are lots of religious movements in your parish which can help you awaken and nourish the faith. One of my favourite groups that I used to attend was the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. Try to find a group to your liking.

There was a group calle Christ Youth in Action (CYA) in my school when i was in college... and it was a good in strengthening oné's Catholic faith... i was a member for two years... until i decided to concentrate on being a Cathechist... because this organization needed me more... You can also join the Single's for Christ organization... i think they have one in every parish...

Thanks for your suggestions. I am considering joining a community -- but I am scared of the adjustments or you know some insecurities emerging in the process. It's like I am scared of joining a group where I am not part of and might make me feel odd.

try to communicate with people whose religion is methodist. they are the one who truly nourish every single word in the bible. i love them eventhough im not a methodist. they are a good friend. but unfortunately, i lost them.. because they already moved to other place. and also i dont have any contact with them.

Thanks Jheiem. I have searched online and yes, I found a nearby Methodist Church. I am considering of learning things from other religions, aside from Catholic and your suggestion about the Methodist gave me an idea.
