I listen to the radio, anytime i am in my room or at the pc.. which is in my room. When the kids are napping/sleeping, I have the radio on fairly loud to block out the other noises of the house so they sleep longer. . I am addicted to the radio now. . *dances and wiggles her butt* If you do listen to the radio, whats your favourite station? Do you ever call in for requests ? Do you have a favourtie DJ ? Can I come over and listen to your radio ?

Come on over! Yes, I still listen to the radio. I have two old rock stations I listen to. I don't recall their call letters, but I do remember the numbers; one is 102.5 and the other is 107.2. I love them both. As for favorite DJ, I love listening to "Alice at Night" with Alice Cooper. I love listening to the radio, because of the variety of music they play.

I like listening to the radio but get so annoyed by stations who claim to have "new" music then play old stuff or say "this is a new release by XXX" and I have had the CD or have heard the songs a billion times other places.

lol they do do that often.. must be a marketing scheme.. Although this station sometimes plays local arists and they DO actually play new music not yet released.. I placed the link in a few responses above you if you care to listen.

I would invite you to listen to my radio....but, I don't think you would like my choice of listening! I listen mainly to Country, oldies & favourite talk shows! I am a Tiler by trade, so many of my job sites, I am solo! The radio becomes my best friend, so many days, I am plugged into the radio for 8 to 10 hours, and do not know what I would do without it as company! My mood dictates what I listen to at any given time! Sometimes I surprise myself and get into some pretty heavy classical! And I have a choice of radios...as job sites dictate that! Battery & electrical! I can live without the TV...but not my radio! Cheers!

Truly, I believe, your choices of music, are the windows of your youth! I grew up in a very rural, cattle country lifestyle...so it was a "country lifestyle" where we all gathered on a Saturday nite...some-one played the violin, another the "squeezebox" accordion, guitar..and drums! But after leaving home and moving to the "big city," my first boyfriend was a very accomplished trombonist who ended up playing with Stan Getz...so I still do have a soft spot for jazz! Just like flowers in a garden...hard to choose your favourite!

I still listen to the radio quite a lot. My mood changes between needing a change and a broader range where i might hear something new and other times i just need to listen to my own music, maybe a specific artist. I mainly listen to BBC Radio 2, but also absolute and sometimes net stations.

I listen to the radio every morning. I like to hear first of all what is going on in the world through the news broadcasts and I like to have music playing in the background. I mostly tune into stations that play 60s-70s music from my youth. :-)Derek

I do listen to the radio when I am in my craft room....I usually listen to a soft rock but last time my DIL was over she switched the channel to old country and I have been listening to that. You can come and listen any time you want....but be prepared to sit down and stamp a few cards or do some scrapping! LOL

I listen to radio while traveling or when there is power shut down in our region. I got mobile with fm, and i'm kind of addictive to music. So whenever i'm not doing anything that needs concentration, i prefer to listen radio. In our country, there are many radio channels. I don't have any favorite one. These stations broadcast same kind of music programs, so i switch to channel that is playing song of my choice. I don't like to listen public's conversation. I use it for only one purpose. To listen music. No, I do't have any favorite DJ or program. Ya, sure, you are welcome to listen radio on my mobile. I would be honored my friend.

STRANGE that i should come accross this topic, i was thinking last night if radio would ever disappear? i came to the conclusion that it shouldn't as it still serves a purpose in society today... people listen while at work, driving, doing housework etc. basically when they're using their eyes for something else... and it also is a promotive tool for businesses and artists alike... i did wonder how radio stations keep themselves going though. obviously they get money from adverts but is that their only income? i tend to listen to the radio when i'm doing uni work! galaxy fm mainly because of the monotonous dance beats that are often on there :P good for background noise... come round and help me with the work by all means, got 4 assignments in for monday (3 days)!

11 Jan 09
counselling... session appraisals, presentation evaluation, journal evaluation, theoretical approaches to a specific mental illness... awesome lol im such a procrastinator tho :p

I don't usually listen to radio now except when I'm driving. Traffic information station is always helpful. And a little music would be perfect. I used to tune in for English programs when I was a college student learning English. Now I ocassionally listen to radio when I feel like it. It's still beautiful when I don't want to be bombarded by flashy pictures of TV or others lol.

Hi there, well I used to listen to the radio regularly before, when I was getting ready in the mornings. I just found that it helped give me an upbeat start to the day. These days I most often listen to radio when I am driving on my own - I like to listen to music shows of talk shows as it makes me feel as though I am not alone, especially on long journeys

I haven't listened to the radio in a long time and I'm thinking that I'm beginning to miss it! My favourite radio station is Classic FM! I love the easy listening stuff! I could listen to Classic FM on the Internet but I don't bother about this. I'm in My Lot for most of the time! Andrew

I only use the radio to wake me up. A friend of mine tells me the people on the radio are just posers like this hip-hop station, just 2 pasty white people acting. So i dont listen to them, doesn't sound right. I dont call for request, no favorite songs, sometimes I just listen on radio in care just to decide a new song i should get on itunes.
