You want to make more money online what do you do to get more traffic?

There are many ways to make money online and quite often things work faster if you invest money to get that traffic but not everyone has the money needed to get the ball rolling.
I like to be able to send free traffic to certain web sites. An example is how I use TrafficSwarm.com to send traffic to one of my fly fishing artificial flies blogs. I have even built up a referral list that helps me gain more free traffic.
I have tried using TS on other blogs that revolve around hobbies I have and I get results but I also have a few business sites that TS doesn't help with at all, so I have learned the sites that do well on TS and those that don't. This way I can control where the clicks are going so as not to waste them.
When I see a site is earning enough to pay for some traffic I will try that option at TrafficSwarm.
I use the free credits I earn to test the waters and only then do I pay for any traffic.
There are many other methods and sites for free traffic that converts. Are you will to share your sources and give my readers a tip or two?

I've not tried TrafficSwarm so am not sure how that operates. But for me I get traffic in what some may called the old fashioned way. I try to actively read and comment on blogs and forums, posting my web address where possible.
I made a decision early on that I would rather get 100 visitors a day who came to my website because they were interested rather than 1000 generic visitors who just end up using band width.
Plus I spend a lot of time doing SEO which brings me more visitors than anything else.

Great. I live for blogging these days. I use Trafficswarm to send people where I just want it automated and it works, but for my own blogs I get out there and comment on other blogs I have in my RSS reader.
I used to go to forums but I get very addicted and spend way too much time on them so I stopped going to them, except when I have to find something I can't find elsewhere.
I have gotten to the point now where I don't spend nearly as much time on my business as I did, but I earn more in the time I am online.
I limit the time online so now I do what gets me the best traffic for my time and it works for me. I get to enjoy my hobbies more, which for a few years I didn't get to enjoy them at all, I was just a workaholic.
Search engine traffic is really important to me as well. I keep blogging and the search phrases just keep adding up and that sends me more traffic.

Thank you for some tips. To me I write online and I need traffic sometimes in order to get my earnings higher. I do not want to cheat anybody but traffic is everything to me when it comes to my online freelance writing. Thank you again for sharing this and I will be checking out what info you have given here.
