How many times have you set in the waiting room of the doctors office or on hold with a company and wondered why they were not paying you for your time? Or how about when your internet or satellite goes out for several days, shouldnt your bill reflect the time without service?
A guy who had wrangled with the phone company for quite some time decided that they had wasted enough of his valuable time and potentially hurt his business, so after they apologized 9 times and still did not fix the problem he sent them a bill for over $5,000, and guess what? They are paying up! That is great!
Have you ever wanted to do this? Would you?
Sorry I cannot post the link, still cant copy and paste and I never get it right when I type it in, lol.

Good for him, I think its about time that companies realize how valuable our time is to their business, not the other way around.

Good for him! It's about time someone stood up to the phone company! I have often wanted to do this when it comes to things like the power going out for reasons other that the weather, the cable company, when they decide to work on the lines and cost us several hours of cable service. You get the picture.

I know, I wish putting in links was easier. :( Yes, I have often thought of doing this. I had phone problems that really were annoying and effected my internet years ago, it took months for someone to come out and fix it. I also remember moving twice when I was younger, and this was in the 90s when no one but the very rich had cell phones, and they never came that day to install the phone.
