Do you think its a good way to get a measure of someone by seeing how they behave at dinner table. i think some of the most revealing moments of human life are displayed on dinner table, in what they eat, what they leave, and how we do both these things. just sit back one day and observe everyone as they pile there plates and head back to the dinner.

haha.. I guess my behaviour at the dinner table will be able to reveal alot of bad things about me in life.. lol =D Because i tend to eat fast, and eat alot.. ON top of that, there are times i like to talk as i eat too.. hehe ^_^ BUt when it comes to dishes, i will always save the best for the last, by firstly eating all those things that i dun really like.. lol =D BUt also, it depends on where i'm eating at, and my eating habits will be different too.. I have my limits and i know the rules.. haha

Hi vipinl, One when I went to a buffet dinner and dance, I saw so many people piling up their plates so though it was the last time they were going to eat or just getting their money worth so when other people went up to help themselves there were hardly any left and those peopl who piled their plates up wasted half the food, talk about being selfish and greeedy, eyes were bigger then their stomach, that was the last time I went to those dos. yes i agree. how they chew and if they stuff to many food inside their mouth. if they talk while they chew. do they chew noisily. but sometimes it depends also with the culture. japanese eat their noodles noisily as the sign of how taste good the noodles is. the louder they eat it the greater it taste. you can observe almost everything on the dinner table. and on the end of the dinner is if they burp that loud or just a small burp.

Sometimes in a lifetime we still cannot be sure of who a person really is. people change and there are some secrets never revealed. Have you ever thought that someone you thought you knew simply changed from day to night? Or have you ever got surprized with the action of someone you knew so well, that you never could expect that person would act like that? So a dinner table cannot do the work of knowing someone good. Sometimes a lifetime of convivence can“t.

our Dining ethiquettes can tell alot about our upbringing or social standing. but it cannot tell about our heart or our real character. The way we eat only reflects our certain habits & in no way can tell about our values & the spirit within us. I sicerely hope people do not judge others by the way they eat. For eg: me being a vegatarian has got nothing to with my beliefs, it was a habit because i was born into a vegetarian family.

yes you are rite in the sense it cant tell about everything about one, but it really reveals a lot of things there will be disciplined sort, who wil eat out in small mouthfulls, chewing carefully, then there will be greedy guttons... and these sought of things reveals much i think. happy myloting
