Well, this winter I never experience having snow yet in my area. North Carolina seldom have snow. If we have snow, it will only be 2-3 inches. This winter, until this time, we never have snow here. But it is cold here. Well, not maybe the same from other states. The lowest temperature that we have so far is 18 degrees but not all the time. This week we have 50-60 degrees but at night time we have 28-30. It is still very cold for me. I am not used to this type of weather that is why I'm still cold with this temperature. What about in your place? do you experience plowing snow in you yard. hahaha I didn't since I am here. just curious to hear your story.

I doesn't snow in my part of California. In fact, I have never seen snow. I really want to though. I think if I drive and hour north or two hours east, it snows in those places, but I haven't done that yet. We don't know how to drive in snow or put chains on our tires. Sad isn't it? Anyway, I March, we're planning a trip to Whistler in Canada to see snow and learn to snowboard. I can't wait!

No, there isn't any snow in the two parts of California that I've lived. I've only been here for three years. I'm originally from Honolulu, Hawaii and it never snows there so that would be the reason that I've never seen it. I'm excited about my upcoming trip to Canada though.

Hi Bebs, We experienced last month for a day and it was soo thin! Hopefully, it will not be a lot this winter, I love to see it but I know it's hard for the people to drive! I have not tried plowing, when I got here last Feb, I don't like to go out because it was too cold and good thing sun will just melt it! LOL! My friend in Chicago told me they have 8-10 inches and oftentimes it is snowing there!

wow....I can just imagine the bills for that! It's really a burden in the pocket here during winter, bills are just way too high because of the heater, much more if we are paying people to work on our drive way! Anyway, I am glad we also don't have snow here this time! What keeps you busy friend? a new site?

Hi Che, Same here in North Carolina, we don't have snow yet this winter. But it is soooo called here. I don't like to go out either. My friend in Vermont said, they used hammer to open their car door in the morning because the snow covered their car. They are experiencing 3-4ft. snow and they always pay somebody to buldoze the snow in their yard. My goodness!! what an expense plus gas for the heater?

I'm from the snow-belt part of PA and we get a lot of snow. Our degrees has gotten as low as-4 and I didn't enjoy it at all. We have to shovel at least 2 times a day. Probably should be more but no one wants to be outside. LOL! I'm so waiting for Spring, it cant come early enough for me!

Hey bebs! Well, I live in NY and we got about 2 or so inches again yesterday, but we are supposed to be getting some more snow Tuesday and maybe again a few other days this week. But, the worst news that we have is the temperatures are supposed to drop really low into the single digits and stay there which is very unpleasant if you have to be outside at all! That kind of cold is painful! You have to extremely careful with any exposed skin! We aren't really that used to such cold temps here so that will make it more dangerous! We had about six inches of snow at once so far. I think that was the biggest snowfall so far!

Oh!! really? we never have temperature that low. the lowest so far as I can remember is 17-18. we never have below that. I can imagine how painful the cold outside if the temperature is so low. In some areas they even have below zero temp. I could not stand it.

Hello Bebs, I am located in the midwest U.S. and we have the snow. There are many that have gotten more but that doesn't mean I haven't shoveled my share so far this winter. I'm sure the weather channel has told me how much but I never seem able to retain current numbers given me. Feels like alot when your shoveling it that's for sure!! Since I have lived nowhere else I do not know christmas without snow. It wouldn't be the same without it for me. I personally prefer cold to extreme heat. I would be good to live in Alaska, if the rest of my relatives didn't reside here, I probably would. I enjoy the cold...my husband says I like it polar bear cold. The temperatures you described having would be primo temps in my perfect world. I would be very happy with those temps at any given time. About a month ago an indian lady that works in the dollar store nearby said she didn't like the snow I just laughed and said " You haven't seen anything yet." I don't believe she had experienced a real winter here yet. She is really a nice lady and she has gotten a good winter to tuck under her belt. Enjoying the seasons is key to enjoying the weather no matter where you are...heh?...Mamablaze!!

Like I said the temps you described would be awesome for me on a regular basis. But seasons are a must for nature to survive right? My sister-in-law is from Florida and she hates the snow. So she's having bundles of fun this winter since she has moved here to live with the father-in-law. We were supposed to get a blizzard last night after midnight. So far it seems to have missed us now we are waiting for 2-4 inches. That is not so bad as getting the blizzard in my eyes. Enjoy your snow free winter dear....Mamablaze!!

It sounds like your weather is alot like ours in Oklahoma, we don't get much snow either and if we do it'll only be about 2 to 3 inches also, by the end of the day its all melted off. It does get cold here too, to me its cold, I think the coldest we've gotten so far was about 7 degrees at night, thats cold for us...lol. This week its been in the 50's and 60's, and 20's and 30's at night, a mild winter so far. So I've never got to experience plowing snow, I don't really think I want to either, I don't like the winter..lol.

Hi friend! Oh the weather is soooo good here! It's cold the last few days here in the Philippines dear and we love it! You know cold season is not always around so we do enjoy the feel. Philippines have never experience real snow though there had been few times very few snows fell in certain places as reports say. I know it could be so tough plowing snow in the yard but I sort of wishing I could experience that snow plowing one time. I only get to see a bit of snow in our freezer! Ha!ha!ha!

I am living in New England, and it is snowing heavily, It is so cold out there and I have stayed at home all the weekend. But good days are over, tomorrow I have to work again :( I like snow actually, but I do not like the cold weather. The most annoying thing is about the gas bill, it climbs to as high as 400 dollars last month because of snow. And all my roommates are like ' oh my god'! anyway, happy mylotting, I don't want to think of the stupid bills .....

Wow!! what $400 your gas bills? my goodness!!! we did not use gas this winter. We use wood to cut off expenses. It works good, I know how expensive it is during winter that is why we are using wood and it helped a lot. So, new England has heavy snow. I am learning a lot.. in this discussion.

I live on the east side of the Rockies in Colorado. We usually have a decent amount of snow each winter how ever for the past 2 winters the western slope and the ski area's have been getting all the good snow. I am really missing the snow my daughter has only been able to make one snow man and that was months ago. I am watching the news and they are showing its snowing in the mountains again. LOL. All we want is a small amount just to make a snowman. LOL.

I am living here in the south part of Netherlands wherein we experienced a heavy snow after 20 years. I was surprised to peeped on the windows on our back garden filled with snow. It's even 4-5 inches thicker. My husband spent almost 10 minutes of cleaning the car. The snow lasts for 7 days because of the constant drop of temperature to -18 degrees. We will also be expecting a nice summer in exchange of the great winter season.

I was just lucky to arrived here with snow in winter time. They said, I might not seen it again in few years time. Snow is great but it will be really cold. Spring would still be raining and you'll start to see green leaves on the trees. I will inform you as soon as I experience Spring here in NL.

The ones we have here right now is approcimiately 1 foot high from the grounds and the plowed ones beside the driveway is 5 feet or higher. As far as I observed, snow piles doesn't seem to reduce at all since last month. There might be time that it's sunny and won't snow at all for days yet those ice still doesn't totally melt and then another snow falls then its of the same rate again. I really wish the winter will be over soon.

we have about 8 inches out there right now... maybe a little less, but we just got dumped on this weekend and still more to come this week plus artic cold on its way here in Michigan. We get snow every year, but this year it started early --in early November. It hasnt stopped either.... we get 2-4 inches, then maybe a warm up to 40 degrees and some of it melts then we get more...and we usually see it through april. Not fun, my husband uses a snowblower, but still I am so tired of the snow already.
