clothes that need to be washed wet. Huge laundry basket full of clothes. And where was my clothes basket? On top of the drain. Right were it didn't need to be. So I needed to plunge the clog, stop the overflow, move the clothes all at the same time. Obviously, since I don't have three hands, that didn't happen, actually needed for hands, turn off valve on the toilet. It was before my husband normally gets up in the morning. Clog wouldn't budge and toilet wouldn't quit overflowing so shut the water down and then did the clog again, so now it goes. I have a load of really, really stinky laundry.

[b]Oh, my! You poor dear! I guess the only real upside to days like this are that at least all the bad stuff happens at once, so the following days just have to be better, right?
Let's go with that theory, at least for the nonce, hey?

The rest of my day was better and I think the rest of my week, will be, too. So great theory!

Thankfully, all of it is washable. Starting off that badly, it had to be uphill from there. At leasst, I hope so!

Other than the initial problem, it was a great day and I think it will be a great week! Thanks and take care.

Sounds like you are having the same kind of day that I am only in a different department. Atleast you can turn off the shut off valve. Ours are too difficult for me to do since our house is older. Don't envy you having to wash stinky laundry. Not a fun job. Hope your day gets better.

True, clean clothes would have been worse. But I did have to use clean towels to create a baracade so the water wouldn't go out into another room. Rooms isn't pitched too well toward the drain. Thanks and take care. I have to go back to washing and drying the mess.

Ewe! What a messy start to your day. I am so glad I am not in your position right now. I hate laundry enough as it is. I would really not want to wash really stinky clothes. I agree with another responder. At least they were not clothes you had just washed.

True, since I subbed half a day, I didn't get it all done and now I have half a load in the dryer. Tried a full load in the wash and it didn't touch the stink. So shrank the load down and trying again. Makes you feel better about your day, doesn't it?
