It looks painful! Has this happened with your children?

Apparently it is normal. My daughter has a 6 year molar breaking through. I didn't even know there was a time line for the molars. We talked with the dentist, because the right side of her mouth/cheek is a bit swollen. He doesn't want to see her unless motrin doesn't manage the pain. Do your kids get their teeth in without much complaint?

Yes, that's normal. Kids get new molars at about this time. So long as she isn't in pain, i wouldn't worry about it. I don't even remember when I cut my six year molars.

I don't remember mine own youth about my teeth but my little sister didn't have that much trouble with hers. Hope the Motrin works well cause I know that it hurts alot and makes it hard to eat since I have had to deal with teeth even nowadays.

I am lucky, neither of my children really had too much problem with cutting teeth. Really, I didn't know they were cutting teeth until I happened to look and see them, or they would happen to bite me with them lol. My son didn't have too much problem with his molars either, he just started drooling a little and I finally attributed it to the new teeth. I don't know how my daughter will handle it, she still has about a year and a half before we get to that stage. But if how her previous teeth came in are an indicator, I probably won't notice until they are there.
