A few days ago I posted a discussion entitled,"Amber Alert".I still feel that the police should have enforced it.But when the mother was interviewed when her child had been missing for 36 hours she did not seem too upset.I would have been hysterical! Then when they found the body she had not been seen on camera till today and she still did not seem very upset. Does this seem suspicious to you? Or do you think possibly that she is just one of those non emotional people?

Hello dfollin! I really can't say whether there is foul play or not because I don't know them. I haven't even seen the news. But if we go to our suspicious part, mayber there was especially if the child is somewhat mentally ill. Maybe they are already tired of taking care of her. If there is money involve, probably there is a possibility of foul play too. She should be very upset because it's her child who's gone not any other animals.

That's what I was thinking, maybe she was tired of taking care of a special needs child.I hope that not is the case.I am hoping that she hides emotion or just shows it differently. You'd think that if they were tired of caring for a special needs child that they would of puttin' her up for adoption.Unless...... this is horrible to think of..... they had life insurance on her.

Maybe she is still in shock or just cried out. You can't cry 24 hours a day, even if you feel like it. Everyone shows emotions different, I hope she didn't have anything to do with it. You do see on the news all the time about parents doing horrible things to their children.

It seems really suspicious to me too. she should have shown some kind of remorse. I think she must know what had happened.

I think she has something to do with it,got tired of having a special needs child or she knows more then what she is saying, like you said. She was on tv again today asking for help to find her daughter's murderer and my daughter said,"She doesn't look very sad!"

I cant say if its suspicious or not but I do know that people deal with a loss as tramatic as this very differently. I have been around people that have lost a child and you would think that they should be crying and passing out and just not doing good at all. Then you see them and they are clam and reserved. The public will always see a different person than those that know them well. This woman may be calling on all of her reserves to get through this strong in the public eye but weak behind closed doors. I think that any more we assume the worst instead of giving the benefit of the doubt due to all the stories we have read where it was the mother or the husband etc etc. I say let the cops do there job and the truth will come out. For the sake of every one envolved I hope they catch who ever would hurt a child like that.

It's hard to say without knowing the woman. I tend to be unemotional in front of other people. I also tend to shut down when something is too awful to bear. I have to. When I'm at the end of my rope, I shut down completely. All my answers are one word, if I can speak at all. My emotions have to shut down, or I can't continue on.

It does seem strange. First not reporting your daughter missing and getting an amber alert out there and then not seeming sad, hysterical, or any other emotion at all?

Only very few mothers who lost daughters/sons will act very calm. Most are hysterical, crying and very sad. i wonder why she is just calm? Is it because the child is not really her own? Well, this goes to show that she lack love, or myabe did not love the child.

I dont know all the details about this situation but I know that could never have been my mother .When I was old enough and still living with my mother and I went out or stayed too late she would never sleep until I came home.So I can only imagine if I went missing while living under her roof ,she would be hysterical like you said.Like I said dont know all the detail but it does look suspicious
