Do you think she would?

My husband and I were discussing whether if my cat caught a mouse, would she bring it up onto our bed or not. She has her toys on the end of our bed all the time. He believes that she might grab a mouse in her mouth, if she caught one, and hop up onto the bed and play with it, even if it's not dead yet. The idea of a half-dead mouse in bed with me gives me the creeps. So, do you think she would bring a mouse into my bed or not?

I want to put her toys on the floor, but my husband doesn't want me to. He thinks she might get hurt feelings as the toys have been on the bed for 4 years, not the exact same toys. LOL

She'd just put them back up there. Now, that's one thing I really don't allow. There's not enough room in my bed for me and the cats AND the toys.

The cat might or mihgt not bring a mouse into the bed; it is difficult to predict. However, it can quite definitely be declared that surely, she will catch a mouse because ctaching mice is the nature of cats and no animal will go against its natural inherent qualities unless it is a case of exception.

She is a very good mouser! Except, she likes to let them go a bit so she can chase them.

For your sake, as well as sanity, I sure hope your cat doesn't do that!!! I'm not a squeamish type person, but if my cat did that I'd probably flip for a minute or two (esp if it was still alive.) My outside barn cats bring me presents like that all the time, but I consider myself lucky enough that they just leave them on the doorstep lol. In bed?!?! Now that definitely would freak me hahaha.

It is very possible that she might do that since she already brings her toys to the bed. she may not though since the mouse would actually be food for her to eat but I would not chance it either LOL.

I think I have some hope that she won't because the biggest thing she can, so far, hop onto the bed with in her mouth is one of her tiny (gumball-sized) balls of paper. That being said, her other toys are always on the bed. She likes to chase paper for some reason.

I didn't think my cat had any killer blood in him. One night he woke me up pawing at my face. To my horror he had killed a mouse and brought it into my room. We had this cat for 7 years and he never once hurt a fly. He doesn't even have any front claws! Once he had me awake me ran down to the floor where he had the mouse lying. He picked it up and tried jumping into bed with it. Luckily he waited until I was awake before doing this so I could keep batting him down and then dispose of the mouse. I think animals are always surprising us and you might want to be careful :)

She has killed 2 previously and left them where they lay, one in the living room and another in the kitchen. We have "helped" her catch several others. She seemed peeved when I took them outside and threw them into the street.

If it's her habit to get on the bed with her things, I'd say yes, she would bring it up there.

That would be frightening and funny at the same time. I hope for your sake that she doesn't. Have you seen any mice lately? Is that her on your avatar? She is so cute! Look at her hugging that pillow. You are lucky. I can't have a cat.
