I had to laugh at what my hubby did today.

Today I was outside in the back yard, it was really nice. I looked at my wooden wagon that my husband made for me and I had planted some bell peppers, egg plants and a lantana bush. The bell peppers and the egg plant needed to be pulled out. I noticed that my husband had cleaned the flower beds out and the wagon out. He even pulled out the lantana bush. It was just getting at a good size and it was a purple color that I loved. Now I have to either have to start over next spring or put something else in there. My other lantana bush needs a good pruning I do not know why he did not pull it up also. I was so shocked that I had to laugh, what good does it do to get mad? What has your spouse or significant other done to help you out but did it wrong? How did you react to it, did it make you mad or did you laugh?

My husband use to get a phone call from his uncle every time we where ready to walk out the door to go to dinner when the kids where growing up. He did not have the nerve to tell the uncle "I am going out to dinner and will call you back." We would have to sit in the car and wait for 20-45 minutes at times. Sometimes we would leave him because we where going out to dinner before I went to work and I needed to eat.

I had a bed that was upstairs I asked him after I moved the top mattress down if he could please move the box spring and the frame. I was in the kitchen when I heard the first loud crash and then him I had just walked around the corner to see the bed fall over the banister and crash down on the desk below hitting my laptop as it went. I seen little pieces of the laptop fly up into the air I just knew it was ruined. I wanted to cry. I very slowly walked over to find that the corner of my lap top had been broken and there was a large piece that was missing. I searched the whole time screaming at him that he ruined my lap top. After I found the missing piece I sat down and tried to put it back together to no avail. I then tested to see if my lap top would still work I was so happy to see that for the time being it worked then the next day it started to act funny freezing up at strange times then a few days later I was trying to reboot it when it just refused to turn back on. The next thing I know windows wont load up and I am getting an error that says no disk please reconnect and press any key. I have to assume my HD is shot as I cant afford to take it to the shop. I am so bummed out I have had to break out the old and I mean old desk top pc and boy is it slow. My husband has offered to buy me a new pc but that won happen for 2 months or more. So here I am on my lot busting my hump to make it go even faster. I just really miss my lap top. Maybe I can find a good deal on one at the pawn shop or a best buy or some place. I was very mad at him but what can you do. It was an accident. But it dont make me feel any better.

Autumn wow what a sad story. I am glad it was an accident. At first I had visions that your hubby thought it was easier to just throw the bed over the banister. I guess you can forgive him and thank goodness he did not go down with it.

I am just thankful that our daughter was not at the desk playing a game to help her read and do math better like she almost always is. That would have just been awful. I am also thankful that my husband was not hurt as well. The lap top is just an item I do miss its speed but I have my old desktop thank goodness it still works. The laptop was a present to my self for my birthday last year I bought it used but got a great deal on it. Now I just have to keep my nose in the paper and on craigs list for a new one. Or maybe I will take the money and add it to mine and get a brand new desktop with all the bells and whistles.

Oh...that really sucks. But atleast no one was hurt. Plus Hubby have a way of doing something wrong. We just moved out of my parents house, and this is the first time that wefeel like adults. My hubby has never grocercy shopped in his life, and I wasn't able to go to the store with him. I have two young childern and its below zero here in chicago. So anyway, I sent him, gave him a list and told him where evreything was. What he comes back with is all sorts of veggies in the same plastic baggies. It was so funny. Like all the herbs were in one, and the fruits in another. It was cute, I laughed. No harm done. But I guess Hubbies have a way of doing something wrong.

Anyway, it happened also to us, and when I will call his attention that it is no longer weeds he is pulling, my hubby will just start to be very focus! LOL! I grew up with a farmer Mother and I learned a lot from her..I can relate my hubby to my father! LOL![/i]

My husband just did something stupid... and i did not laugh at him... but got mad because it cost us a lot of money that we could have used for things that we really need... it is quite a long story... and i am still debating with myself if i will start a discussion about it... but he did learn his lesson but in a hard way... i just hope that before he decides of doing something... he would consult me first...

Yes, almost similar thing happened to me few days back. I planted few plants in my front yard. However, after few days I found that some of them had dried up and my spouse asked about the reason. Since I also was not sure, I told that it could be due to hard soil or bright sun etc. Next day, when I returned from office, I found that all the plants were missing and after inquiry, it was told that those were relocated inside the covered area of house to avoid bright sun and thus I lost the remaining plant also. I also didn't know what to do on this, should I laugh or hould I be angry. Though, I did nothing and simply started watching TV.

Aww, I can so relate to that. My husband loves to garden, but he does need quite a bit of supervision in the garden, because he can get a bit happy with the pruning shears. But what can you do? Don't get mad at him, he was only trying to be helpful. He may stop trying to help out, and you wouldn't want that now would you? If it were me, I would probably start over. I am planning to grow some salad this year, it's always lovely to be able to pick stuff fresh from your own garden. Last year was strawberries, and they were gorgeous during the summer. :)

He grew up being a farmer and he was use to plowing everything down. My friend said I was lucky he did not plow up the weeds.
