Are you afraid of the Dentist?

I hope you mean clean the plaque and not the plague! Plague was the disease which wiped out thousands of people in the middle ages. I don't mind going to the dentist, and I go regularly every six months. That way I get a good clean and check up on a regular basis, so any problem will be caught early and so hopefully shouldn't be as painful as if it is left to get really nasty. I understand why people don't like going, but I think it is one of those necessary evils. :)

I was never taught ,in school or elsewhere,how to take care of my teeth. My family didn't so I had no idea. My teeth are terrible. I hate going to the dentist. My threshold of pain is nill and void. I hate the dentist! They are always very nice but they love to enflick pain.

I never had to go to the dentist until I was about 20 which was more than 30 years ago and it wasn't a good experience. This dentist taught me very quickly to hate all dentists. I had to endure a couple of root canals that he just didnt' get enough freezing in and it was h**l going through it. Recently I went to a dentist and it's a whole new ball game now. Even though I started out scared it went smooth and painless. So I don't have the hatred inside any more. :) I still have all my teeth except for those two that nearly killed me.

I ave a tooth ache right now! I hate the dentist! I was supposed to get thid tooth pulled 4 months ago I did not go back I was absolutely terrified. I am 38 yrs old as of yesterday and I will kick,scream,bite & fight the dentist. My husband has to go and wait till I am under laughing gas in order for me top get work done. I just hate the dentist and the dentist will never be my friend!

I am surprised that you liked to go to see the dentists before. I have never like to go to see the dentist. As usually it means there is something wrong with my teeth. I love China
