knowing a lot of people on disability i was wondering the other day since every one keeps talking about how social security for retired people wont be around when i reach the age for it which makes me wonder if they would stop disability before they stopped retirement or what?? i mean if they run out of funding for one i wouldnt think they would have a ton of funding for the other.. and if disability were cut out of no where then all those people couldnt plan for their future etc.. face it most people on disability dont have an extra dime as is!! maybe i just dont understand how the whole things are set up so if there is no way this is possible please correct me but its hard to think that they will run out of social security retirement funds and not social security disability..

I don't think they'll get rid of social security; they may just need to find a new way to fund it.
