I would like to see more birds in our backyard garden.

I was watching out my office window, looking out into my backyard. I see we have 4 or 5 Bluejays hanging out having fun. Right now it's more than 30 below zero and we have about 6 inches of snow. It's nice to see the birds that visit our backyard but I would like to have more. It would be great to be able to share pictures on my garden sites. Do you have birds in your yard? What do you do to attract more birds and even specific birds?

I love watching birds and I've found the best way to get them to come to your yard is to put out feeders and birdhouses for them. Hummingbirds are my favorite and if I put out a couple of hummingbird feeders they just flock around us. I can't do alot of it now b/c we live in apt's but it's always worked in the past. Ah, we had a couple of hummingbird feeders in the basement when we moved in. I will go get them and clean them up for the summer, thanks

No, I don't care for birds in general. In the summer and warmer months, they fly in my backyard and bother my dogs or leave their waste all over. It's gross.
