I have a little Problem. I'm meeting my half Brother for the first time in April. He just turned 17 years old, he could be my son instead of Brother I really would like to get him a present when I pick him and my Dad up at the Airport. Any Idea what you get a 17 year old Boy that you never met. I know he likes Sucker and School but I don't know what else he's into. Help

Heyya missybear! I would say that at this point he is into you and very curious about you and your life. I would maybe wait on the gift upfront and take a lot of pictures of his time with you and with your family. I would dig out some old ones of your youth and special interests and before he goes back, get him a photo album and put the pics in it.I bet he will really like it.If you want to buy him something else later, you've had a chance to get to know him a little better and can decide better on a gift.Congrats on the new brother!

Maybe you right and I should wait and give him something before he leaves. I will get to know him a little better in those 2 weeks they are here.

Hi missybear, that is a real cute little problem and I think the best thing for you to do is to give him a huge bunch of fresh flowers to show him that you are very happy to have him with you. May you have a lovely time with your brother. Regards

i would suggest a porcelian brother-sister set should suffice on the first meet.later on,you can give him a more elaborate gift.(after knowing his likes and dislikes.

Maybe you could ask your father for suggestions. A watch that is inscribed with a message and the date would be a nice gift. It is something that he would have for years to come as a reminder of your first meeting.
