Tears........Do you cry often? or, get moved by them when others do?

Do you shed tears as a way of easing your pain? Do you allow others to see your tears? How do you feel when you are the reason behind someone's tears? Also when you see tears in other's eyes for you?

I cry sometimes but not very often. I also cry when others cry sometimes too. That isn't very often either. It all depends on what they are crying about.

One tends to cry seeing others crying. The lesser the reasons to cry the better. Except for the joyous ones.

I cry often but i dont like others to see my tears. I like to cry alone so i can feel bitter. but i dont like to make someone cry because of me i just have the feeling of guilt.

I don't cry often.. but when I do, I usually do it all by myself. it doesn't bother me if someone sheds tears with me there.. however, I find it contagious and I cry too.

Hey there, Hmm... No i don’t cry that easily but recently i was watching a movie named Taare zameen par with my family and i couldn’t stop my tears. I have been to hostel as well and it was really embarrassing to cry in front of every one. Though i don’t think any one noticed it. I don’t get too emotional but some time when things are not going good u r feeling down then things are not in your control. I don’t think crying is bad. It cures a lot of things some times. Cheers, Tutul

Yea emotion is good. But too much of emotion isnt, espicially if u r a guy. A guy has to go through a lot in life and he will break down more than often if he is too emotional.

actually I like the emotional man. It is bitter than a man who has no emotion at all.

There are pretty much only two times that I cry. First, I am a sap for sad or poignant or even funny old, old movies. I needed a whole box of kleenexes for one of the versions of Little Women (after expecting it to be a dumb film, hah!). I cried at Shrek. I cried at the Muppet Movie when Kermit was singing on the lily pad in the pond. You know, I am thinking and thinking here, and truly cannot recall any time when I saw tears in somebody else's eyes for me. I cannot even imagine what that would feel like. But the other time I might cry, and this is rare, would be when I am SO angry that I am having difficulty controlling myself, and I might then cry instead of doing something rash. It is like turning the rage back inward against myself, I guess, because it is healthier to channel it outward but sometimes that is not possible. Of course, the best thing is to never let it build up in the first place, but sometimes that, too, is impossible. So on the rare occasions when I feel really, really, really trapped, I would cry.

Lol. So you must be having your stock of kleenex full. I can understand it so well drannhh. I too have my tears eveready for any and many movies. Hmmmmmmm good points there- to channel it outward and to never let it build up in the first place.

Hey daffodil! Only you would think of such a sweet discussion! I used to cry more easily then I do now. I still can be moved to tears at certain things. If I see or hear about a sick or hurt animal I will always cry! If I am hurt by someone I might cry, but not as easily as I used to. I have no problem letting others see me cry! It is not a crime, it is a human emotion and certainly not one to be ashamed of! I do not like to be the cause of pain to anyone so I would never want to be the cause of anyone tears ever!

You are a tough guy rahultheassasin . This will be very odd for a girl to not cry for a long time like you. I cannot imagine myself as a person that hard to cry.

'That's the way a guy should be'. Maybe this is what most of the boys grow up hearing and so find it a girl thing to indulge into, moreso in public.

I sometimes shed tears when I feel very frustrated and cannot do anything else. Most times I am able to do pretty much what needs to be done in order not to be helpless. It is sometimes difficult to control one's frustrations. Cheers!!

I cry whenever I feel the emotions but seeing others around you filled with emotions help speed up the process of crying. I especially cry sooner when I see someone that usually doesn't cry... start to cry. I feel there should be no reason to hold back your tears... let it go .. it's like a cleansing of the soul.
