Have you ever had Dom Perignon?

A friend of ours was celebrating something in his life and he brought over a bottle of Dom Perignon last night. My husband and I are not really drinkers, but we both wanted to taste the famous Dom Perignon. Personally I was not impressed with it at all. I tried to drink all of it that was in my glass because I knew he paid good money for it, but I had trouble finishing it.
So have you tried it? Did you like it?

Never had it before. I know it used to be a status symbol but there have been other kinds of champagne to take its place. I'm not a big drinker either so it would probably taste nasty to me too.

I had dom perignon once many years ago, I can't really remember what it tasted like but it would never be a drink that I would prefer that much I remember.

I tried it once, but like you I did not like it. I couldn't drink it, but since someone else bought it I felt bad about not drinking it. I gave it to my wife to drink so that it would not get wasted. My wife who is not much of a drinker either drank hers and mine, and then later told me that she did not like it either, but she felt bad wasting it so she drank it anyways. So my poor wife drank two glasses of it and apparently hated every minute of it.
