I was able to watch the bride wars with mae. The bride wars is a nice movie about friendship and actually about relationship. Friendship because it was a story of two friends who wanted to get married at the Palace, after witnessing a wedding on that place when they were kids. Liv (Kate Hudson) and Emma (Anne Hathaway) have bonded over planning their weddings down to the very last detail. Then came the moment when the two got engaged and that’s when the competition comes in. It was worsen after a clerical error on the date of their weddings was made. And the different personality comes out. Though they fought like kids and mean girls, they still ended as the best of friends -- and their friendship was redeemed on their wedding day... The movie tells of how important friendship is... and in a relationship (for long-term commitments like marriage), one should accept each other for who the person is, and I guess, one should not "settle" for less. Have you seen it? I think it's totally hilarious from a girl's perspective. It's such a chick flick.
