I have one. Earlier I used to have just Tylenol, pain killers and paracetamols. But after I had a baby, I started to add bandaids, antiseptic creams etc. I very often check that I have enough stuffs inside my medicine kit. How about you? Do you have an emergency medicine kit at your home?

Yes I have a drawer with just the basics. Things like a thermometer, tablets for headaches, fever, sore throat and coughs, a mixture of different sized plasters and things for cuts and burns, I also have a aerosol as I have sinus problems which come on when I'm least ecpecting them. I keep disinfectant, cotton wool and a spare pair of scissors for cutting lengths of a roll of bandage. Oh and I also have an elasticated wrist-band in case I get into trouble trying to open my moka coffee pot Does that load make me sound like a hypercondriac? Hope not because that's the last thing I am! In fact I have to remember every spring to check the medicine drawer as, fortunately, most of the medicines reach their expiry date still intact and then I replace them.

That is good..You have a great collection of medicines. It is very good to maintain an emergency kit..and more important to replace the expired medicines.

Well, we used to have a lot of items for a First Aid kit here for in case of an Emergency, but really need to think about stocking back up with things as well. Since I am diabetic it is necessary to have Bandaids, etc. for small cuts etc. as well. I do have Aleve, etc. that I am always carrying with me though for headaches, etc. for the just in case as well.

My father is a doctor and patient consultant room is attached to my house only.So there is no need to keep special kit.All emergency medicine is available in my house only.

wow..that is amazing. It is very nice when there is a doctor at home..You do not have to be tense when there is an emegency. I always thought why I did not do the medicine course - atleast for my family's needs..

In our home, in our car, in the truck, in the barn. Things are always happening on the ranch and you need to be able to get to a kit fast.

We actually have an emergency medicine cupboard where we keep lotions and potions, and everything possible for any accident, cut, sickness, ailment or remedy! We keep it well stocked up and check it regularly and things which are not regularly used can become out of date. Anything that is used is replaced, it's also a relief to know that if anything happens then there are supplies, forewarned is forearmed and every possible ailment is covered in the cabinet!

I do have an emergency kit. I have all the things you have plus a few days' supply of my dog's medicine and when my mom stays we have a bag of her meds on the stairway to the basement. This is all in case of tornado. I have a less elaborate kit in the kitchen and the upstairs bathroom. You are smart to have this, everyone should be prepared not only for the little cuts and aches of life but for natural disasters and other events.
