Enchiladas for breakfast this morning

I made some enchiladas last night for dinner, meaning to have them again in a couple of days. But this morning they just looked too good not to eat! There's meat, some whole grain totillas, lots of bell peppers and onions (more than the meat!) green chile sauce and a little sharp cheddar cheese on top. It's a good meal to start the day with! Do you have unusual things for breakfast? I rarely have cereal or conventional things for breakfast. I've heard of people having supper for breakfast and breakfast for supper! So, are you an ordinary eater or do you like a breakfast that is unusual?

I'm usually an ordinary eater, but sometimes I get the urge to be unusual. I've had breakfast for dinner or dinner for breakfast before. Heck, sometimes I even have breakfast for lunch! It doesn't matter to me! I love pizza. And if my husband and I had some the night before I may just have some for breakfast too. D@mn, now I'm craving pizza and here it's 2 in the morning! LOL

Same here! Hot or cold, it's good either way. Yummy! So, did you get a pizza tonight? I didn't, I got KFC instead. But only because my oldest son wanted fried chicken. He's not into pizza like my husband and I, darn it! LOL

I adore pizza for breakfast!! Sometimes I don't even heat it up, it's just as good cold as it is hot. Although I haven't had pizza from a restaurant for more than a year, maybe I should get one today and have a couple of slices of heaven for dinner!

I think that if I had had something as tasty sounding as that in my fridge I would probably have scoffed it for breakfast rather than saved it for dinner too. I'm terrible for eating up leftovers first thing in the morning. I normally regret it at lunchtime, but I figure that breakfast is the most important meal of the day! This morning I had a big bowl full of vegetable soup left over from yesterday's lunch, and yesterday morning I had the last of the previous day's cauliflower cheese.

For breakfast I had a piece of cranberry nut loaf that I made from the "Ocean Spray" recipe on the bag of cranberries. Target had a blow out sale on them. Ten bags for a dollah. So I have tons of cranberries in my freezer. I even messed up and because i wasn't paying attention I put 3x the amt of baking soda in thinking it was the requirement for the baking powder. I had already added the flour and sugar and didn't wanna waste it. So I just tripled the recipe and put the left over mix in the fridge. I have a feeling I will be eating a LOT of cran nut bread this week. But I love it. Apparently cranberries prevent the bacteria that causes ulcers; H Pylori, from staying in the body. I read about this on a great site called:www.realage.com

Nice you have rarly conventional things for breakfast. It is really ture that a good number of people having supper for breakfast and breakfast for supper. Me also have to do so a rare. But regular breakfast with three or four pieces of bread with some vegetables and these are enough for me. I think this is an ordinary food for breakfast. I have unusual one very rare. Thanks for your good discussion.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the subject. I like to do unusual things! It keeps my life from getting stale and boring. I, too, often like to have a bowl of vegetables for breakfast with some toast, it really tastes good!
