be humorous but be real. this incident happened when i was in 8th grade.as usual,i was sitting in the front bench.being the monitor,it was my duty to give the chalk and duster.my friend(boy)who used to sit behind gave me a blue chalk and i passed it on to teacher.the kids behind started snickering,so i understood, they had played a joke on teacher.after a few moments of using the chalk, the teacher hand was covered with blue ink and so was the duster.i got a hearing from the teacher ,as she thought ,i had smeared the chalk with ink.(the classmates did so,as they thought i would be let off lightly,as i was teachers daughter)

Nope. I'm about as funny as a fart trapped in a blanket. I have to hand it to your school peers though. Punking the Teacher like this and then letting you take the fall as the Teacher's Daughter is clever indeed! If there had of been a Teacher's kid in one of my classes while I was at school, I could of had me a field day! lol.

Hello my friend riyasam Ji, Humor is good for health and if we do not play mischief at that age of life, when would I have played. I clearly remember an incident, our school was gettin closed before 'Holi-festival' and I along with another of my friend played Holi with our 'Ink-pots' (In those days, there were no pens, we carried our own ink-pots and holders with nibs attatched to it), we made class-room very dirty, we used to sit on ground. taecher came and punished us by locking both of us under ground a place known as 'black-whole', where there were lot of dampness , in addition to raptiles/snakes, we were afraid. But we enjoyed our pre-holi festival. He was of the view, why we played Holi before time. may god bless and have a graet time.

Hello my friend riyasam Ji, They follow your foot-steps, so they would be your carbon copy in all fields of tehir life. Why are un-certain, remember your good time at this age of your children, were you what your parents thought about. If not, think taht we are subjected to have our own habits. It is a natural way of living. Everyone of us have our own way of living . Parents can teach and guide, but it is children to decide and act. may god bless you and have a great time.

Well, at least your classmates knew that there was no favoritism. Well, a good sense of humor really does lighten up a day. It does bring a good benefits. It takes out the stress and perhaps make you feel young. I beleive that you have seen people who always frown, and compared it to people who always laugh and take thing lightly... there is surely a big difference.

I bet you didn't get off too lightly when you got home.. I am also not too sure if I were the teacher if I would have thought it was too funny.. I think the sense of humor stops when the joking gets out of hand or when someone gets hurt..

I have what is called a dry sense of humour, and that is cool, it is more like the billy crystal type of humour. But of late I have just been very sick and crabby.

Ah, how unfair. And how silly of them to think the truth wouldn't come out. Pranks don't seem like "humor" to me because they are essentially irritating or disrespecting someone. I don't find myself laughing at that kind of thing. (Perhaps.. if the teacher was a really tyrant or something.)

I've heard previously about a period in development where children don't realize that what we know/see/hear is different than their own perspective. Kind of like you suggested, if they close their eyes they can't see what's going so they assume no one can see it, either.

I find people with good sense of humor very interesting. I want my friend to be with humor this are the people that become very strong that they can even laugh at their own expense and can make the environment light even when you are in a deep sorrow. I consider myself a person of sense of humor for i tend to joke at things and make a good laugh even if i am not feeling well but i tend to find something to laugh about. ot the corny ones of course. LOL.

Hi ya riyasam I do have a good sense of humour! I don't like to play tricks on people but I like to see others play tricks on people and I am not very good at having tricks played on me in the first instance but always see the funny side of things once the trick is over.

I find nothing humorous about something that will hurt others. I will laugh at a harmless joke, but for the rest, I do not have a sense of humor. In fact my husband asked if I thought that him not being able to walk right, and I told him that I have absolutely no sense of humor and sometimes finding nothing funny is much better then being misunderstood.

riyasam, I have a good sense of humor. But I don't believe in humor at someone else's expense. I don't know why, but everyone seems to overate incidents that happened in school. We were really embarrassed, really shocked and really entertained when we were in school. Small incidents in school have always made memories which we either treasure or want to leave buried in our past. Some kids 'joke' might be another kids embarrassment, that scars them for life. I think that after time passes, whatever we do we should try to focus on the good things only as the will help us move forward.
