hi guys its very funny that i have been chatting online for quite a while but in the month of december i met a very interesting guy online accidentally we exchanged numbers and i cant believe how close we have become in fact we started helping eacxh othetr out in terms of business i am habvving a ball.how many of us have experienced this through online relationship?

I've said this a lot here on myLot, I think it is dangerous to give your details out to people online. You don't know who they really are. They could be pedophiles for all you know. He could try meeting you and do bad things to you. I don't trust anyone I meet online. They could even be pretending to be someone they are not. It's easy to fake your personality over the internet. You don't know what someone is really like until you actually meet them.
Tell me, why do you turn to the internet for friends? Are you so hopelessly lonely that you must sit at your computer and meet other hopelessly lonely people? Why not go to the pub or something and talk to people there, try getting to know them and making real friends.
It's obviously much easier to join online chat sites and ask "Can I be your friend?" then get to know them.. But that is a sad, sad way of meeting people and is also very dangerous. So no. I have never had an experience like that and I never will. Ever.

well i nevr gave out any financial detail to this guy all we exchanged was phone numbers and of course i will be very silly to just jump at it like that i had someone check him out before i called i gave his number to someone else in his country of residence to pose as a sales man after which i called him up one cannot be too cautious

I have met my ex-boyfriend online. We talked for several weeks before we started dating, but we met one day and the rest is history. We dated for ten months before he ended things, but I still see him as a wonderful man. Online relationships can be great and exhilerating. SInce you are discussing business i think you should be very cautious.

Thanks and i really agree with you that one needs to be careful not just in business when dealing with online friends there is a need for caution on every angle of life you never know what the other fellow is up to

I have a lot of friends who meet a lot also of good friends through online! In my case, internet connects me to old friends whom I've never seen for like 10-15 years!

wow now i have only met a few of my old friends online as most of them are either not online when am online or i dont know if they are the ones i see,i remember i saw a name that was the same as that of my old gfriend i tried to connect but he responded saying he is not the person i thought he was well nothing to loose am enjoying having new people

hey byola... happy to hear that you have a new friend .
this is a very common thing. it has happened to me and my friends also. and its a really nice thing if your pal helps you in business. relations like this can go to any extent. itz not bad at all. but incase you feel anything WRONG anywhere in the relation you should know what to do.
