Frist, I'm aware that this has probably been discussed here before but I have to rant. When I was younger, I'd received chain letters in the mail. They warned if I didn't pass it on, then there would be dire repercussions. Later, I have gotten(and still get)chain emails, which I usually delete because I'm a very busy person and don't have time for that. Now, I'm getting stupid chain text messages from people on my phone. When they send it, my phone rings and, as a HS teacher, that is very distracting and annoying. Also, I simply don't have time for that silliness. The girl (woman) who sends them to me complained to me about a cousin who was sending them to her yet she sends them to me nearly every day. Finally today I texted my husband who works with her and had him tell her to stop bothering me at work. It drives me crazy.

She said she was sorry and would not bother me anymore. I'm ignoring them from now on.

I receive plenty of those chain messages. Sometimes I find them in my email and sometimes friends send them to my phone. It is usually the same story: If you don't send this message to a certain number of people, something bad will happen. I am tired of receiving those messages, I am not superstitious, and I usually don't even bother to read the messages before I delete them, but they keep coming back.

My friends and me often receive this kinds of email or message, especially in festival, such as Chinese New Year.My friends and me reached the agreement that stop texting the messages when we receive those messages from other people. In fact, this kind problem once aroused a heated discussion in our city's local newspaper. Most people hated and rejected those messages. Your decision is right,I understand your feeling.I think you can delete those messages, find the way to avoid the message been sent to you again and take it easy. Happy mylotting!~
