Well, i asked for yourself, as i want you folks out there to get over the "Miss Universe Diva" responses and just admit what you would really like. I was just thinking of this after i saw a Disney art cell selling site (with prices from 100$ to 4-5000 $ per piece), and i think i would probably buy them all and would like to open a Disney Museum (or even a Theme Park for that matter) in Romania, so that all the people here could enjoy this wonderful world that colors my life every day as i know how much i would like to visit a Disney Park in the future. What about you, what would you do for yourself if you were really rich?

If i was really rich I would rather do for others then myself. Im sure I would live a little more comfortable and I would make sure my family was comfortable to. I would give to many different charities that I felt needed the money. I would help children who need to be adopted and make sure they had the clothes they needed and good medical care. I would give to heart and cancer research in hopes to find cures. Also older people who cant afford good medical care in the nursing home. I would help schools and give them extra money for educational field trips. Learning is not only in the classroom but in our historial landmarks and muesuems.

This is a good one, elitess. I will have to give some thought to it, but I am pretty sure that regular spa visits will be part of my answer..... Like treating myself to a spa day at the top 10 spas in the world or something like that. I wish you well in your quest to visit a Disney Park in the future.

I believe it was Zig Zilar who said, "You can get everything you want if life if you help other people get what they want." I just like the idea that something I did (the company I would start) would provide jobs for people who need them. I have a couple of friends right now who need work. I wish I had my company up and running successfully so that I could give them a job.

In a way, my desire is somewhat the same as yours, as by opening a Disney Park here in Romania i would give jobs to many people, and furthermore, they would have to do fun things. Also the opening of such a park would improve the tourism industry so in a way i would also help the country i live in, thus improving the life standards for all and at the same time enjoying my dream.

Hey elitess. I will go for study. Yeah, I love study, especially to a foreign countries and I love languages. SO if I am really ric, I can go to the foreign countries and then study my favorite subjects and then I can travel at the same time, knowing a little more about the foreign cultures. Places like the Northern Europe and other small countries where there is beautiful sea beaches or exotic plants. After I have got enough experience, I can write a book at how to learning a foreign language and also photograph these beautiful palces I've been. It will be so nice and fun!!!

Well in this case i think that to help the children better you should either buy them stuff directly, or hire someone you can trust to manage those money so that most of the money get where they should in the first place. Learning about the foreign cultures is really a nice choice and i think i would also like to experience that for a while :)

Alot of people have really nice intentions like, "If I won the lottery I would definitely donate all my money to some charities to help people in poor countries." However, the bad thing is that many of these charities have a really bad dollar ratio; as in, for every dollar they recieve from people like you, what do they do with them? Some charities have around 50 cents of each dollar go to administrative and staffing fees, which is really bad. this means that for every dollar you donate, needy people are only getting 50 cents! The best thing to do is to do some research, find out which charities donate a large portion of their profits directly to building sustainable infrastructures in other countries, which is what we need the most.

Hi Elitess, Travel more, pay someone else to do the ironing LOL and buy a house, a boat and a car. I would also buy some really interesting old buildings and restore them to the former beauty and not allow developers in to knock them down and build non personality blocks of flats/apartments instead and save as much green space around them as possible too. Huggles. Ellie :D

Keeping the historic buildings intact, that is an interesting idea - i think that would also work here as we still have some french architecture left that is far more beautiful than this Korean crap of blocks up high with no friendly faces whatsoever.

I would want to buy a big boat (yacht?) so I could go fishing whenever I wanted. I'd also have a solarium built so that I could grow tropical fruits and have a year-round vegetable garden. Gardening is my passion and I love picking fresh vegetables and eating them, right from the garden. Winters here are too cold so I can't have my fresh tomatoes or herbs or corn. Imported vegetables and tropical fruits get very expensive in the winter and just don't taste as good as 'fresh-picked'. I'd also love to pay for my sons to go to college. They both want to but have been unable to pay for it themselves and I have not had enough money to pay for it for them. I can pay for a few classes for them, but that's all. I'd love for them to not have to work and go to school full-time. That would definitely be money well-spent in my opinion! I would also love to be able to provide some kind of business where I could hire people to work from their homes. I've wanted to do that since my kids were young and I needed to stay home with them. I thought about all the other mothers out there who could have used a job they could work from home. Now, since I am disabled, that gives new meaning to working from home. I would love to be able to provide as many people as I could the opportunity to work from their homes because they HAVE to, not because they just want to. Unfortunately, it takes money to start that kind of business. I'm not good at writing business proposals for grants or even a small business loan. I wouldn't even know what kind of business to start where I could hire many people to work from their homes. It will take a lot of thought on my part. But, I'm not rich so I doubt that business will ever get started. Aside from that, I really don't want anything. Land, fishing and gardening... those are the things I love most. I have 3 acres of land and that's plenty for me. You know, I've lived in the U.S. all my life and I have never visited Disney World or Disney Land! My husband has before we met, but I've never been there. One day, maybe, but I doubt it.

I would take good care of my health. Buy a building to rent all the apartments to people. Buy a beach house in one of those wonderful beaches of Fortaleza and a vacation house in Holland. Make a music studio and finally try to work a bit with music, like I always dreamed of doing but it´s so difficult.

Yes the competition is really high in the music business, but with the right amount of money, you will probably face a lot less problems that you would normally. That vacation house in Holland sounds really good and i do hope that you will let me use it once in a while if you ever manage to get it :D

This is an honest answer, and thank you for it. I guess you are right, if you have so much money, you can afford going on a cruise with your BMW without fearing the consequences like loosing your job or anything. A tv production house, well that's a nice idea.

I would began learning tennis!Well, that is an expensive sport here. I wouldn't buy a car for I bet I would have a crash on the first day. I am not interested in big houses,it makes me feel strange to stay alone there. But if my family want a car or a big house,I would buy it for them.

If I were really rich, then I'll try to help the needs as much as I can, especially the poor children. I always think kids need to go to school and learn, so it's important to help those poor village kids who do not afford to go to school. Also, there are many kids need to be sponsored, we can always look up the WorldVision and try to help some. Of course, besides helping others, I wish to get myself something too, and go traveling.

Opening a few schools would also help the industry by opening new jobs for people, thus improving the country overall, so in a way you are helping yourself in this matter to. Traveling is a good thing, there are so many things to see out there in the world.

i'm not pulling your leg here. i can honestly say that if i become rich, i would like to use my money to lift my country out of the poverty it is wallowing in. i can say this with all honesty because i have personally experienced hardship and i feel for those who are still in a cesspool of poverty. i don't just want to dole out cash. although that is always part of the plan, what i really want to do is to organize an educational movement where i pay people to teach the poor the right values and habits that are necessary to get out of poverty. i think what many of my countrymen lack is the knowledge of and commitment to basic values like respect for the environment, respect for others, hard work, honesty, integrity, patience, tolerance and compassion. i believe all these are necessary not just for material but inner wealth as well. i apologize for the lengthy post but i really feel passionately about this because my country is in a dreadful state. becoming rich so i can help has been one of my top dreams

Hello there Jan Mags. Your response is very original i will give you that, and i think it is a nice idea to help out the country, as this will also benefit you, your family, and all your friends, so in a matter of speaking it may be considered as doing this for you as well as for your country.

Hi, If I am rich, I would have one or two months vacation, just having a tour around the world. Go to places I never been and try out some new things I never done or studied. I would also, buy lots of clothes, not just for me but for my family. and of course, I would give 10% to the church. So God, will bless me more take care

Really, honestly, I like buying things for other people. That is something that I do for myself even though I am not rich. I like their reactions when I give them something they really like. If I were to come into a lot of money I would pay off my credit cards, pay off my student loans, buy my MINI Cooper and cherry it out with a super cool sound system and really swell paint job, buy an apartment in Austin, TX and open my bookstore. Then I'd go about buying things for my friends and family.

Hi there Crimson lady bug. A house and a tuned up car, that sounds nice and of course the bookstore must be the cherry on the cake if i may say so. I think buying things for friends and family is sweet but you must be careful as they have their own pride and won't accept things forever from you :)
