What I mean is how you get the topics to your discussions. It is something you have seen or heard? or something that happen with you or your friends? or only something you have imagined? for me, most of the time is something I have seen or heard. What about you?

Mostly in my email. I have checked it so that all of the people on my friends list therir discusions they start come right to the email and I respond to as many of them as I can find something to say something about. I then check out the people that are new and the ones that have no replies. When I read the post of others I also read the other reponses not just mine and check out some of the people there that I don't know. I'll go to the home page and see what they have written and maybe ask them to be my friend. Which by the way my dear friend it's good to see you, it's been a long time. I have a person that just joined they will be requesting you as a friend as well as other of my friends here. He is rockcollector59. I hope you add him. And thanks for everything.

Hello teka44,how do you do. It is an interesting topic. I am new here. Consciously,or subconsciously, mylot keeps moving in my mind. While reading newspaper or some articles here and there question rises in my mind--willthis subject be an interesting topic for discussion in mylot? Sometimes I note down that topic so that I remember it when I am on my laptop. Unfortunately, very few discussions i started in this way got response. I too am curious to know how the others select the topics for discussion.

Hi vjayrao, welcome fellow mylotter. Yes this is a way to get topics but I think most of the people want to reply discussions with commom things that they know. Don't worry fellow I will try to give you responses in your discussions.

Hi teka44! I'm not really into making a discussion since I really find it hard to have something that have not yet discussed by other mylot users. But whenever I start one, it is usually something that I have read and/or based on my own experienced. When I was still new here, I just start discussion which I feel appealing to respondent. I'm now slowly changing this philosophy by making discussion that I feel have something valuable in it. Have a nice day!

Usually I draw from life. There is alot of activity here. My daughter is a great source of inspiration. Now that I have a son too, I am sure I will find more things to use as topics.

Hi teka! Sometimes I get some idea when I'm reading magazines and sometimes things that happen to me or with my friends. Actually I rarely start my own discussion anymore as I've run out ideas, lol.

I form discussions from things that are currently happening to me and from matters i'm curious about. I also form them from my interests. Imagined discussions might work but i usually don't go for them.

I just think of daily things that happen to me or my family. Or that one nagging thing that has been bugging me.
