What makes you say to your self thank goodness for that?

Well in life there are a lot of things that we take for granted and but when it comes to your life what makes you say to your self thank goodness, as for me there are a lot of people and things that in my life that make me say thank goodness, having my mom and the rest of my family makes make say thank goodness for them, and having a roof over my head makes me very thankful and of course I say thank goodness for that, and having pretty good health and food to eat makes me say thank goodness.
So tell me what makes you say to yourself thank goodness for that or makes you just really thankful?

I'm thankful for my education and that I was able to further it and go to college. I'm thankful for my pets. I'm also thankful for my mom.

Hi ya apples99
Oh boy I am so thankfully for so many things in my life right now. I am thankful that I have a roof over my head too, that I have great healthy kids, that I have a loving mother who loves me, helps me and supports me. I am thankful that me and my kids are healthy, happy and safe.
What makes me say the words thank goodness for that is when I think my son has sworn and I say what did you say and he tells me what he said and he hasn't sworn and then I say 'Thank goodness for that!'.
