Yes, they do interest me. I've read Jane Eyre for a class and really enjoyed it. And now I'm in a Jane Austen course, and in my acting course, we're doing a production of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, which is really exciting.

Yeah, but once you know the story, then it becomes easier to understand the characters and everything. Though, obviously, being an actor, it's our job to know the story inside out. So, we'll have to read it more than once, but still the more you read, the better you understand the characters, the story, and such.

I'm not sure if I have read any of these however I have seen movies based on their works and have found them to be very entertaining. I actually just bought Sense and Sensibility yesterday which was featured with another DVD Remains of the day. You might be interested in the movie The Jane Austen Book Club which kind of goes over the life of Jane Austen.

oh yes I love the books from that period, I find they are so much better written with better story plots than many of the books today. I love the dickens classics as well. Boy do I love Wuthering Heights, it is one of my all time favorite from bronte.

I don't know if this is the same ime line but I love anne of green gables and little women. I tried pride and preduice when I was younger but I couldn't get into it. I will have to try it again I think. I do like similar novels of the same time frame. It is so interesting that they lived like that!

It interests me a lot and I have the complete Jane Austen series though they were given as prizes..I love the elegance and a different flow the stories of that era have..I love regency novels too and one of my favourite will be Gone With The Wind. I do really miss the school library..now all I get in the college library is books full of machines and numericals..

Yeah that interests me too. The era seemed so beautifully described that you feel the whole story as you read.

I do not read books at all. I never have read a whole lot. I just do not have the time for it or the desire honestly. It has to be a really good book before I will read it.
