annoying habit

I think they cultivated this habit, when no body stopped them to do so. Had their minds been tuned in such a fashion that picking nose in front of others is a bad habit, they might have improved themselves. You can still counsel them (specially your kids) that it is a bad habit and it could be embarassing at a public places. You can tell them even if they are good otherwise, this habit of theirs may let them down in a decent gathering. It is we who have to guide and cultivate some habit in our kids. About your hubby, I do not have any advice...........he is mature enough to understand........all these things..........LOL!

My kids do the same thing!! It is so gross! but worse they will eat it too!! We just done with supper the other night and I noticed one of them doing this and I told her if she was still hungry there was some supper left over...She looked like I embarassed her! I hope I did, maybe she won't do it anymore! On the other hand I can say that to my boys and they don't care they tell me it tastes good YUCK, YUCK, YUCK!!! i guess boys will be boys!

they are to use to you they lack respect for themself as well as for you in this matter.i hate when a person set and pick in their nose that is just nasty.you tell them if they do it in front of you they will do it in front of others.

Hahaha. My husband and son both do things just to get a reaction from me. If it is something I really want them to stop doing, I stop giving them the satisfaction of seeing my reaction. It is hard when it comes to something gross...... I can understand.

This will really annoy me. This would definitely hate me. But I have this theory, they are doing it because they find your expression quite funny.

Well, same here riyasam! My hubby and kids have disgusting hobby like that or, the fart out loud! It's so annoying at times but mostly, it ends with a laughing session for the family.

so if that is why they say they do it I believe them.

i guess it's something everybody does but they could do it in private. have u tried doing it in front of them? that might gross them out. lol

my hubby bites his nails which i hate!! i just keep thinking about the germs and everything and makes me sick

How are they doing in a public setting, what may be funny at home is just gross in public. Think about how you could cure this, It's mean but a little hot peper sauce where they thouch something and then touch their noses would work, be careful if they are bigger then you you might suffer physical damage while you are rolling on the ground laughting, Not an original idea with me, an old aunt of my husband's did this to him, guess what it cured him, or maybe just the story that she told everyone did it.

That is gross and I am sure it is very annoying too. If I were you I would find something that annoys them and I would do it just to see their expressions on their faces, that will teach them who to mess with.

Hello my friend riyasam Ji, It may be by nature that they do this way, please just neglect it an dyou will be at a peace. You may also resolve to have your own habit by 'smailing', you keep smiling and they would keep doing their ways. i am sure one day a compromisr would come. may god bless you and have a great time.
