i just opened web browsing and my local forum then i found very shocking articles about using cats as live baits for sharks. geeeee, how cruel this matter since i love cats.
it said that, "The Human Society of America has announced overcrowding in their shelters by cats and kittens as a result of global warming. Earth's warming temperatures haved caused longer and more frequent breeding seasons. Now, it's been said, rich, arrogant traveling anglers are taking advantage of this surplus by using these helpless animals as live bait for sharks, blue marlin and tarpon. These sick individuals are abusing cats and kittens for their own twisted amusement and calling it "sport". They hope to create awareness of this horrible act and save cats' and kittens' lives by doing so."

that is so sad. i love cats and I just am sick to hear this. I am going to share this with some of my friends and family.

yes, there are many of us around here who have nurtured so much love for these cats and kittens in our hearts. i hope that something can be done to put an end to this untoward practice.

well, this is a case for the animal lovers to handle. i hope that the organization will act fast on this matter so the animals which are so cuddly cute, can be saved from landing into the hands of these cruel people.
you will agree with me, plumwish, that this act is just as much, if not more cruel, cruelty to animals that some men do.
i'd say that this is so much more cruel in fact, because the animals are made into baits for those sea animals.
those men are without good conscience considering how they do the offering of these animals to those large targets for the bait.

i also hoping the same way, dear. trully hope that the animal lovers organization in US able to handle this issue very well. i just don't get it why they use live animal for baits, in this cas using cats, grrrrrrr
why doesn't use fish as like usuals?

this is dicusting to think they would be used for live bait!
But to blame mating season on global warming if dumb . Cats have so many days to be in heat just like dogs and their breeding system dont go my the weather but by htier cucles just like women but we know how to handle that!

That is terrible. I hate to hear that. I aMm not a cat lover but I sure do not want things like this to be done with them by no means.
