Did an Open Mic Night at a Coffee Shop in downtown Palm Springs, CA. Been doing it for a quite a while and now have decided to not go there anymore. There's barely acrows and the same people come over and over. Last week this Open Mic has been invaded by punk rockers. The open mic is pratically open to all acts. The guys proceeded to drop -fboms by saying f the open mic and f the coffee shop and other things. I come back to do a little bit on these guys and my feelings about it. The lead singer comes in drunk, has barely listened to any of my act. Tells me I suck. Tell him, "That's what your mother said." The drunk punk decides to throw a chair at me. Luckily, the drunk fool had worse aim than the guy who threw shoes at George W. Bush, and the chair lands right next to my feet.. He wanted to beat me up and since he's a coward wanted his friends to gang up on me as well. I just stayed in the coffee shop and since those guys are lazy decided to leave. Never going back there because I like having my body not beaten and I like it better without bruises.
