I was watching unwrapped yesterday and I still can not get enough of this show. I have a dvr and always record the shows and I watch them when I want to. Sometimes it comes on late in the evening and I am busy doing something else but neverless I still will watch it. I have been noticing that it is not on as much I hope food network does not take it off the air. I look foward to any respones to this discussion.

I love that show too! I have several VHS tapes full of it! I just enjoy watching how they make things we take fro granted everyday! IT is so interesting to see it all! One day they showed Blue Bunny and how they make the Shamu whale ice cream novelties that they sell only at Sea World and since my GD is a Shamu fan, I was able to show her how they are made and she was thrilled to watch it! Amazing what a few tumblers and some sugar will do!
I also like watching how they make things like potato chips, fritos and the like. I just love that show too! I haven't seen the new season yet tho.. only reruns... so I do hope they haven't canceled it.

Oh, forgot to mention - the shows about the specific holiday foods and candies are also great. They also give lots of history about all foods they are talking about. But the one they did for Halloween candies - that was so cool. I again, recorded it for my GD to see how they make candy corns (her favorite) and vampire teeth and such.

I know it is true we all do take for granted what hard work goes into the food. When I was young my dad would always say pray for the workers that made this food possiable. When I was young I thought yeah whatever but now that I am a little older and I think a little wiser man he is right.

Have you ever watched a show and thought "I'd like to have that job!". I have, altho at the moment I can't think of one of them, but there are some pretty "cool jobs" in the food making/processing business!

I've noticed the program while channel surfing but have not watched it yet. I'm going to have to take an episode to check it out!
