As seen on tv

We see these infomercials. Day, night, into the wee hours of the morning. They seem endless. They try and tempt us with products that seem useful, things we might need, or want. How many of you have actually bought something? Did the product work, and were you glad you bought it? Or sorry?

I bought two things, the one that sharpens razors and the dog clipper thing that is called Peticure. They both work but the dog thing takes forever to file down the dogs nail and the dog never holds still lol. Basically it's like a little drumel sandwheel thing that spins around really fast an there is a protective plastic cover so your dogs nail doesn't get filed too close to the quick. The razor thing is cool and it does work but your razor has to be wet when you put it in and you can only sharpen them about 2-4 times before they just don't sharpen anymore. What I really want to try is those pads that you rub on your skin to get rid of hair lol I wish they had a store where you could try products out before you buy them.

I had wondered about that razor sharpener so they don't last the 200 times it says they will? I found the best place to look is sometimes eBay. I wish they had a store also like that..lol But they wouldn't get as much business selling stuff on television if they did. I bought the Smooth Away and I liked it alot. No nicks, cuts, or razor burn. No messy or smelly creams, gels, or sprays for hair removal and I also like that it exfoliates my skin at the same time and that I can use it anywhere. The Ped-Egg works as well.

I have bought the Ped-Egg and the Smooth Away products for me and my husband and just received them 2 weeks ago. I liked both of them and they both work fine. I would recommend the Ped-Egg to all. The Smooth away is a easy, effective way to get away from shaving all the time and it works and it is great. I used it on my arms and it seemed weird to not have extra hairy arms..so it is a product I will continue to use for a long time and have no worries of getting razor burn or cuts. next I am thinking of the ShamWow! They make it sound like a need to have product so if anyone has bought it let me now how you liked it and how it rated on a 1-10..

I have never bought anything before from an infomercial. I see all kinds of them too but I have never wanted any of them they have shown. There is always some hidden fee and alot of the products are not as good as they say.

I don't normally buy things from infomercials. It have bought a few things in the stores that say as seen on television before. I got one of those Shed Ender things a few months ago. It really worked on the long hair dog.

I generally don't trust infomercials. I will often wait until the product makes it into normal store shelves if I'm going to buy it at all. I suppose that's not entirely fair, but sometimes I feel like the infomercial people are snake-oil salesmen.

I've never bought anything directly from a TV add or infomercial before, but there are plenty of things I'd like. Sometimes I'll buy them once they're in stores, sometimes I won't. I'd like the shark steam mop, they sell those at Sam's Club now. I'd also like the magic bullet, also at Sam's Club. There's a few others I'd like as well, maybe I'll get them eventually when I have the extra cash.

I have bought a few things from those infomercials. I bought those aquabulbs for my mom for christmas. They are these globes that you fill with water and they watter your plants for up to 2 weeks. She is constantly forgetting to water her poor plants. Well she started using them right away and they are great! Finaly she will have alive plants lol. On the other hand I bought the mericle chopper. Its like a mini blender. I tried a couple of the recipes in the book but found they turned out like water. On the show they show making of chicken salad. Well i fallowed it to a tea and I had chicken baby food. This is not good as it shows on tv. The only good thing its for is making baby food or making smoothies.
