My 10 years old son like very much to eat chocolates. But i afraid that if he use these, This is harmful for his teeth and stomach.
He like every type of chocolates like cadbury, dairy milk. and others. It is harmful for his teeth, i know it. But he is a child and do not understand this. what can i do for him?

I don't think you have to worry about that. Kids really like chocolates. But once a week i think will not harm the kid and as long as you supervise him also to brush his teeth. Don't deprive you kid to such, its okey for them to eat sweets, what is not okey are adults like us who is concern about blood sugar levels or people with diabetes.

Chocolate is fine in moderation. Dark chocolate is even suppose to be good for your heart. The trick is not to let your child eat too much sweets. But on the other hand you don't want him to become obsessed with the "forbidden Food". Its all a balance.

Has he tried dark chocolates? There are even sugar free versions, but they are quite a bit different from milk chocolates.
I go to a place that sells organic dark chocolates, and they include things like blueberries, raspberries, acai berries, almonds, walnuts, ... - and I am nuts about the two or three that include chilies - you haven't lived till you tasted dark chocolate with chili ...
Of course there must be moderation, but really, you don't have to brush your teeth immediately afterwards - An hour or two won't hurt. It would be a dastardly crime to erase the experience so soon ...

If he likes chocolate get him to brush his teeth. If you brush your teeth after having chocolate or close to it, it will help prevent teeth decay. I ate alot of sweets as a kid as well as now and I brush my teeth soon after having sweets. I have never had a cavity in my life and im in my 20's. As well eating too much chocolate let alone anything else is gonna give you a stomach ache. Eating chocolate in moderation is the key here.

I know many parents who are very strict and only give their children candy on Saturdays
and no sweet things except at parties. I tried to be strict with my two oldest children,
with the third one I was not so strict anymore. If you are really strict maybe it
will make them want it so much more?
I love chocolate myself but when my children were small I tried not to eat it when
they saw it.

I also always wanted to eat chocolates. My grandmother kept me limited to only getting some near special occassions and for special treats for good behaviour. Now my children always want some and they are only one and two. If you restrict the amount to like one small piece a day it will not hurt his stomach at all. As long as he brushes his teeth at least before going to bed after eating them his teeth will not suffer either. As mine are younger I only give them about one piece every two or three days. This is also due to the fact that my one year old can take a bite size piece of chocolate and end up coated from head to toe in chocolate.

If you make him brush his teeth after every meal, he can eat as much candy as he wants and he won't get cavities. Cavities only happen when you have food left over on your teeth, that's when the bacterias start eating your teeth, as long as you brush it, you'll never have any problems. I never had a cavity in my whole life, and I always ate sweets.
