Close family?

I am close to my family without being physically close. I live in California, they live in Arkansas. But they are very supportive of me and I talk to them once a week. I also visit Arkansas about twice a year to see them. They have been a great support and help to me as I am going through a trying time with the separation of my husband and I.

I am close to both my family and my in-laws. I don't get to see either of them as often as I would like. My husband is in the military and we are stationed in California. My parents live in Tennessee and I get there a couple times a year to see them. I wish it were more often. My in-laws live in Alabama and we get there to see them whenever we visit my parents. They are about four hours apart. We borrow one of my parent's cars and drive to see them whenever we fly in. My extended family lives in Pennsylvania and it has been over a year since I have seen them. I really wish I could see them more often but it's too expensive to fly there and the drive would take a couple of days from my parents. I have a toddler too and traveling long distances with her isn't much fun.

I am very close to my family. We don't see each other as often as we should, but we always get together for birthdays and holidays. I just had 20 people from my family here last week for my sons birthday. I think that the next gathering is Easter, but we will make sure to see each other before then as my mom will be having surgery so we will all be there for her then.

My family has been dysfunctional for as long as I can remember, so we don't get along and we don't see each other very often. I do, however, have a close relationship with my fiance's family and we see them all the time.

My family is vey close. We all live within an hour or so of each other and we see each other regularly and talk to each other regularly. There isn't a lot that goes on with any of us that we don't know about. It has it's advantages and disadvantages I guess but I enjoy it for the most part. I also look forward to vacations away form all of them too! LOL

Well I see my mum everyday since she picks my child from school since I will be at work, if it wasn't for my mother I will sure cannot work. I am not that close with my father as my mother but I see him often too.
