Do you happen to pray on a regular basis and if you do what time of day to you do it? Do you still believe in joining hands at the dinner table no matter what time of year it is and ask thanks from the Lord?

I don't have a set time to pray I just pray when I am in the spirit to do so. I think it is wonderful when people join hands at the table and pray but it has never been in our family.

That is alright to not really have a set time to pray. I also agree with you winterose that joining hands at the table is a wonderful thing. It is a sense of fellowship and belonging to have the family or friends together. I don't have the regular sense of prayer in my life but I have had some experiences in my life lately where I feel I need more of the spiritual guidance. Thanks you so much for joining the conversation. It is good to hear different ideas about the strength of prayer in people's lives and I certainly admire you for your honesty on the subject. I realize that not every family participates in holding hands and praying at the dinner table but it is never too late to start. Of course that is up to you and your personal beliefs. Take care friend.

I do pray daily in the morning after i shower. I have made a small temple inside my house..small means very very small which is fixed on wall and i have the very small statues of gods in it ( i am Hindu so we do worship statues) and i would usully pray in morning for couple of minutes before having my breakfast and burn an incense stick and pray for what ever i would want.

Yes I do pray regularly, me and my husband do. We have our daily morning devotional each day as we get up from bed and we have our nightly prayers before going to sleep every night. We also pray before leaving the house when we drive or when we go to some places. It's only the two of us since we don't have kids. And we laso pray after we fight; this might sound odd but we always do after the conflict has been resolved to thank God for the reconciliation.

Praying is not really important to God. He hears it all anyway.I can give you the best time if you want to pray.Pray in bed just after the lights are out and the house is quiet without distractions.
