It is snowing like crazy here and we just called my son and I am afraid that he is going to rush on the roads because he just woke up and was supposed to be at work a half an hour ago.It will be 2 to 4 inches by lunch time in the city.But,it going to be 4 to 6 inches a little more to the west,where I am.It is supposed to slow down this afternoon,but then tonight it will be an ice storm.
Do you have snow where you are at?

Hello dfollin! I am from the Philippines and this is a tropical place so we can't have snow here. I really want to experience how it is to play in the snow..hehee..I envy you right now..

Snow is pretty to look at and ok to play in for a few minutes,then the cold starts bothering my bones.Yuk!I always thought it would be cool to ride in a horse drawn sleigh in the snow!
I remember when I was in 5th grade a girl moved here from Australia and she had never seen snow.It started snowing and all the kids went to the window.It was not a lot,so the teacher said that all the kids had to get back in their seats except that girl because she had never seen snow.
We don't get it very much here as when I was younger.This actually is our first snow that stuck.Now here up north they have had plenty of snow and in north centeral and some places in the north west.Maybe someday you will get I here to see the snow.Hopefully you will.If I had the money I would bring you here.

Hopefully, I can go there this year. My husband is american and he is applying for a spouse visa to me. But the problem is, he is from Florida and there's no snow there..heheh

I live in Minnesota which we sometimes playfully call "MINNESNOWTA".
Here's a photo from this winter of the snow we get here for you to enjoy aisaellis. In this photo there's already about 18 inches on the ground.
We got 3 more inches during this storm.

Here in Minnesnowta we still have about a foot on the ground. We have not had any measuranble snowfall in a week or more now. Just some bitterly cold weather. We've had flurries a few times recently but nothing much. It takes a lot of snow to slow dfown us Minnesotans though. At least a foot with high winds but then maybe even not then. We get a lot so it takes a lot to stop us.

Yes here in Southern Indiana we have gotten snow, ice and rain. We have a winter storm warning here. I actually have the day off from work due to the weather. Though I didn't know we were closing until after I cleaned the car off and had it warmed up and was on my way to work. But still nice to have the day off work.

no, we have freezing rain which i har=te. my power went off about 4 o'clock & stayed off for 3 hours. was beginning to get chilly. if icould act like a normal person & go to bed sleep would great.i didn't lye down till three & was still awake when the power off. finally laid back down at six & slept till seven. whoppee! guess i'll have to have a nap, y'all stay safe & warm.

We are supposed to get the freezing sleet tonight and tommorow morning.Yuk! I am glad I am not driving in it.My son has to thou,he is a tow truck driver.He is out in this stuff now.But tommorow will be worse.Sounds like my night's,by the time I get to sleep it's time to get up

We have about 4 inches of snow here too. We also have about 2 or 3 inches of snow on top of that too. It is still freezing rain right now and we are to get more snow afterwhile also. The power is out everywhere also and trees are down. There have also been fires from tranformers also wehn trees are landing on them.

We had a bit a few days ago, it was pretty to look at and only laid on the grass and yards but not on the roads.. Snow is so scary, I love to watch it but worry so much about everyone having to get out in it.. I have been in the snow and ice before so I do know what it is like.. I am hoping for no snow..

Well, yes we have snow sometimes only. Since December up to the present we had only experience once with that snow 1-2 inches only. The lowest temperature that we had this winter is only 10 degrees. Well, the cold is tolerable but I don't like winter.
